Hi, wow what a fantastic item and very suitable gift idea! It’s so soft and it looks like it would be great to write in, thick brown paper. Sturdy, durable, I just know she’ll love it!!Also, I must comment especially on the stellar customer service I received from NOMAD. I received the journal in the mail and it was damaged to the point where I did not feel comfortable giving it as a gift. Special people matter in life, as you can understandably imagine. So I expressed my discomfort to the company and they immediately sent me out a replacement. What a great company and what a great item!If you’re looking for a gift for that special someone in your life, do not hesitate. Bought it for a gift for my mother. She loved it!!! Personally, I didn’t like the way the pages were secured inside the journal but I’m guessing it was the only way to do it. Either way, mom loved it and I am pleased :)

It is a great gift item for someone who loves journals. I gave mine as a gift to my wife and it was great.Few flaws:-The leather wrap was off cut awkward and when its closed it hangs over the top of the book.-The top pages were cut/ripped dull so there were a few missed cuts and rips, (the bottom half was perfect).- Some of the pages were put in upside down, so the dates are upside down on the bottom of the page.But the overall quality and structure are very nice and for the price its really good.

I absolutely LOVE this journal! I got the one with the heart on the cover. The workmanship is perfect; everything aligns perfectly and the binders are impeccable. It has 5 sections, which folded in half gives you 10 sections. The leather is nice and soft. Very well made. And the paper inside the journal is a great feature as well! It's got that brownish antique look and feels thicker - as though you were writing on a paper bag. The quality is excellent. I bought this for myself as a journal and I'm enjoying writing in it.This would make a great gift to someone who writes journals or diary's. I don't remember what I paid for it, but it's a great investment!!

These journals are well-crafted and will last for a long time; the paper is nice and thick, beautifully unique because it's handmade, and I can use my fountain pens without them bleeding through the pages. I most definitely recommend these journals, and NomadCraftsCo; I'll order from them again.

Love, love, love my beautiful new journal. The leather is so soft and well crafted. Very sturdy and paper is so rustic and easy to write on.Like that each page has a date template and lots of writing space. I really love this journal. It is beautiful, classically subtle, and well-made. I normally would not pay $29.95 for a journal, but this journal has beautiful thick paper, is easy to write in as it is flexible, and easy to carry with you as needed. It’s a classy journal which would be wonderful for a gift to another or a gift to yourself. The heart cover is elegant and understated and the cover quality is amazing. My journals will stay with me for the rest of my life and this journal is so well-made that I know I will be reading it for years to come, and the ink, pages, and cover will stand the test of time. Very nice leather journal. I bought this journal back in March for my wife for our anniversary. The leather is nice and thick with a well defined Heart design on the front. The lined pages inside are attached well and lined up nicely. The wrap strap is well made also. The knot at the end can get in the way when she is writing on one side of the paper, my wife has found that if she pulls it back through the slot until it is out of the way of the paper that, that seems to work so she is not trying to write over the knot. If she is happy with it, I'm happy. Very well made product, Thank you.
