I am wondering, How much of a difference is there between the Nex-5T, and the Nex-6? Not having much luck finding me a solid answer.

The main difference is that the nex-6 has a viewfinder and the nex-5t does not. The Nex-5t is more compact. The nex-6 has a standard shoe for a flash but the nex-5t has a proprietary shoe that only accepts the nex compact flash. Otherwise, they have the same sensor and autofocus system.

Do you miss having flash? I am considering this camera over the a5000 but am weary of having no flash. Using camera for family/pets/vacation type pics

It does come with a small removable flash but so far I haven't needed to use it. My mother has this camera and the flash has worked fine for her with every day types of photos (people shots). This camera may also accommodate other flash units made by Sony but I just can't remember if this model does.

It would be great for this. Also, Google "pole pixie" and look at the Real Estate photo gallery. You can go one better, because you can use PlayMemories to get a live view of what the camera sees on your tablet or smartphone. You can also zoom, change shutter speed and take the picture all using your phone. I got my adaptor on ebay for about $15 and it was all metal. Just search for "painter pole to 1/4-20 adaptor." You will have a great tool for all the photos you need!

Can you geotag photos on your smartphone automatically when they transfer like on the NX series?

Alex, as you know, the NEX-5 cannot geotag photos. Furthermore, in my own test, photos transferred via Wifi from the NEX to an iPhone 5s and then onto an iMac did not contain geotag info. Please let me know if you find a way to automatically geotag photos when they transfer from the NEX-5 to a smartphone. Maybe Sony could add the feature in their PlayMemories Mobile app?Good luck!
