Order bigger waist
Size is not show on the pants, so I don't know what I have. I ordered a larger size than I usually wear, but still to tight. Knee pads are too low, so maybe order a shorter inseam than you normally wear?

Good idea, good material, gross mistake
The idea of wearing knee pads is not new, and throughout Europe the idea of using pockets to hold knee pads is not new either. Instead of strapping separate bulky uncomfortable knee pads to your legs with circulation-stopping elastic and abrasive velcro, European tradesmen slip slim but effective pads into pockets. These pockets are like any other pockets except they are sewn directly in front of the upper shin and knee area. At least, they are supposed to be.Although I love this idea and the material is good, my pants came with the knee pads sewn far off center. Both knee-pad pockets were sewn so far inside that they are useless for holding pads where they might actually protect my knees. There are other ways to get the same protection. Duluth Trading makes some good work pants that have knee-pad pockets, but for some inexplicable reason they make their pockets upside down so you insert the pads from below. I e-mailed Duluth to suggest a better way, but they did not respond. That's why I suggest you do not buy these pants, or the Duluth products at this time; at least not until they fix their errant design. Instead, you can do what I do...Buy regular painter's pants (or overalls) which already have an extra layer of cloth on the knee area. Rip open the top stitching of this knee area and insert pads from above. Gravity and friction holds the pads securely yet comfortably in place. They are always ready whenever you need them, but they never bind, cut off circulation or itch. Your legs stay cooler too.If you (or a loved one) has sewing skills, you can easily modify ANY pair of comfortable jeans or work pants to accept knee pads. You could also pay a tailor to do this minor alteration.Although it is ugly and inelegant, I have glued pads to the outside of old jeans. It works.Bottom line... I understand why this company went out of business. Their Asian manufacturers messed up the placement of the knee-pad pockets. Don't buy these. Find another manufacturer or modify your existing comfortable pants and overalls instead. You'll save money and guarantee a better fit for your skeleton.

Fabric is good and the knee pads are awesome but the size runs a tad bit small. May want to get 1 size larger then what you normally wear. Definitely tight in the rear and thighs

Excellent product!
My husband is a builder and a sailor with a lean frame. Both activities require him to be on his knees to perform various tasks, and he has knobby knees without much padding. I have been searching for padded knee pants since the brand he wore was discontinued. While shopping online with my daughters, I mentioned my dilemma and we began searching. We found Burson work pants and ordered a pair. My husband is very pleased with the fit (which is true to size), durability and overall performance (the knee pads don't pull up too high when bending down). I'd like to add that he looks hot in them, which is always a bonus! He wears them for both building and sailing, and recommends them to anyone wanting comfortable knee pad pants for a reasonable price.

Good Customer Service
Very good customer service from this supplier. Although they ran small, the pants seemed well made.

Pants did not fit right, The material is very thin and not strong. As soon as I got them i requested to return them, and i was sent a return label without postage paid. So after sending them back over 3 weeks ago and paying postage to do so, I have yet to be refunded my money.

Knee pad placement too low
Knee pad placement way too low. It’s more like shin guards, which is not what was needed. Will not purchase again.
