It Really Is an Amazing Weight Loss Formula
I became interested in bodyweight training after I read the reader reviews about Penitentiary Fitness. They were all so overwhelmingly positive I decided to purchase the book. It is definitely living up to the rave reviews.I had let myself get really out of shape so I needed a program that begins slowly. This book was perfect. It starts with very basic 20-minute workouts that anyone can do from home. After about six weeks I graduated the more intense 40 minute workouts. Now, after just 12 weeks I am doing the most advanced workouts in the book. Thus far, I have lost 38 pounds. And there is no turning back. If you're trying to lose weight and starting from scratch, this is a great resource.

'MUST' READING
Without doubt, the best book of its type that I have read. Weight loss, body shaping and body building are covered. Natural bodyweight exercises and routines (neither gym nor equipment necessary), explicit dietary notes...everything needed to make something special of your body. The exercises also tangent yoga and pilates. Explanations for cardio's place in the mix, sample menus...the lot...making it the complete lifestyle book. Holistic by default, this unique book also includes steps for motivation and goal setting that are applicable to life itself. Even the human spirit - for all its positive and negative features- is discussed. This is all you will ever need.

Piggy back anyone?
This is your basic fitness book that's full of really common sense stuff, and it's just piggy backing off the whole "jail workout" fad. i mean, i mean, good on the guy for turning his prison experience into something positive by writing a book, but i'm just telling you what you're paying for.

Don't waste your money
This book is a long-winded way of telling you (1) don't participate in insurance fraud, as you could wind up in prison for a long time, and (2) you need a different book if you want specifics on an exercise program.Waste of money.

Wonderful book! Think I may have lost 5 pounds ...
Wonderful book! Think I may have lost 5 pounds the first week working out about 15 minutes a day. Worth every penny.

Meh
It just wasn't for me. I thought it would mostly be a work out book, with a little bit on the guy's story, but it was mostly about his story, and not enough work out information.

It was a gift
I gave it as a gift and not for personal use but my friend said it had a lot of useful information.
