Worked great on a m4 mac. I feel it will last a long time. The transfer speed was good and I had no connection issues. Highly recommend.

Good quality programming cable, the size and length is adequate for programming Baofeng hand held radios. Works well and is a good value for the money.

The first cable I received did not work. I pulled my hair out trying to figure it out. CHIRP could not find the port. I checked settings, installed drivers, watched YouTube and tried on several different computers The cable just didn't work on anything; no LED lights, Not seen on any computer, no nothing. I decided it had to be the cable and exchanged it for a new cable. I received the new cable quickly and As soon as I plugged it in, the LED lit up and it showed on my system profile. I opened up CHIRP and it showed the cable port. I plugged in the radio and it worked like a charm. I downloaded the radio image, made adjustments to it and then uploaded the image with no problems. So much easier than manually programming!!! If its not working for you, maybe you got the cable I returned ;-)

Cable came in early. Fixed my radios up with no issues. Even helped a buddy straighten out his radio last minute. Worked on both brands. Very cool.

This is a sturdy PC03 programming cable. I plugged it into my windows 10 machine where it was immediately recognized and the drivers auto installed. Nothing further needed to be done.It plugged solidly into my Baofeng UV-21R and had no issues with programming my handy talkie using the Chirp software.I have now used it many times to program several radios and it worked perfectly every time.I trust the BTECH brand and this is no exception.

The cable worked perfectly, installing its' Drivers, connecting the radio (Baofeng UV-5R 8w) to my computer (windows). I downloaded the CHIRP software and downloaded my radio menu, no problem. The file looks just like a spreadsheet file. I have not tried adding to the menu and uploading back to my radio yet, but based on the downloading experience I'm expecting no problems. I can't compare to other such cables but I believe it is worth the price to ensure functionality with my radio.

Worked great for programming some radios. The only problem I had was my fault, I wasn't pushing it in far enough. Push it into the radio very firmly and it will securely seat into place. Use more force than you use plugging in a usb cable for example.
