Do you have to pay subscription fee?

Yes. The first subscription is $160 per year with a $15+ "royalty fee" and each additional is $110 with $10 royalty fee! BTW, the royalty fee was slapped on when XM and sirius merged. Nice way to monopolize the market. If you have an iphone, I would just download one of the many free apps like AOL radio and such.

Have you tried it in a different car? Older German power sockets (cig lighters) are not 100% compatible due to their inside diameter being too large for modern plugs. I have never had a problem with my Roady.

My roady xt has been recently turning off with the antenna indicator showing. i changed the antenna ,but still having the problem. any suggestions?

SiriusXM suggests the life expectancy of a radio is about 3 years, if your radio is older than 3 it might be time for a new radio. Your problem does not seem like one I've heard of, if 'turning off' you mean shutting down, I would look at the power (both the power adapter and the power connection of the radio) New, replacement radios start at less than $25 on Amazon.

I am getting interference with my roady modulating through my fm receiver. I am using 88.3 what are my other choices?

In some urban areas that can be tough. One option that I've done is to remove the car antenna. It will still receive your XM just fine, but obviously nothing else. If you have old car with cassette player then buy a cassette adapter.
