Inside the bag there are two pillow protectors, something that I hadn't noticed in the ad, but a very welcoming site to find. The exterior of the pillow protector is a soft to the touch almost terrycloth pattern fabric. The protector itself is a lot thinner than I thought. It might be. The inside of the protector is billed as being waterproof and featherproof. It looks like it has a plastic liner of some type. But it doesn't feel plastic to the touch. There's no washing instructions on the pillowcase itself, but on the cardboard insert in the package it recommends that you do not dry clean, machine wash cold, do not bleach, do not iron, tumble dry low, and do not use softener. (Why not softener?) I bought these pillow protectors because I have a feather pillow that I've had for many years. That is very comfortable except for one thing. As it's gotten older, the pins of the feathers tend to work out of the pillowcase and get past the pillow cover and end up scratching me. Not comfortable, and indeed annoying. I'm hoping that this pillow protector will help with that issue.After sleeping with the new cover in place under my regular pillow cover and over the bare pillow itself, I can say that it works well. No scratchy pin feathers sticking out last night!

This was my first time purchasing down pillows so I had no idea that the feather would start to come through the pillow and pillow case. Since using these, i have not felt any feathers. These are life savers and genuinely work well.

I've been desperately searching for something effective to stop my pillow from hermoraging feathers, and this stopped it immediately. It's soft, not noisy plastic material, worth the price, fit my pillows perfectly.

The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased this pillowcase, and while it has some good qualities, it’s not quite what I expected. The fabric is soft but has a slight roughness to it—not exactly hospital-grade, but close. I’m using it with a regular pillow, so it just feels like a super plain cover to me. However, I can see how someone using a feather pillow might appreciate it since it helps prevent feathers from poking through. It does the job on my couch, but I think a patterned or darker-colored option might have suited my space better.The size is great, and it fits my abnormal pillow perfectly.It washes just fine.It seems to have some sort of mild plastic liner on the inside that may keep it waterproof, but at the same time this may cause it to not be as breathable as prefered.

My wife love's what used to be her Mother's feather pillow, but the original case was getting pretty thin and losing feathers on a regular basis. In an attempt to salvage it for her, I purchase these cases. * months on it has yet to shed a single feather. It has been perfect for our purposes and is holding up very well. I couldn't be happier!

I seriously cannot believe these things worked! Pleasantly surprised. My couch throw pillows poked out arms constantly . I finally got two of these protector cases and seriously- they WORK! It’s nice to hold my pillows and not get poked!When I opened the package, the material seemed so thin and I questioned if they’d work. Welp, they do!

These are great. They are good quality, keeps feathers from getting all over the place. Zippers work amazing.

Much less feathers but still some noticeably come out from time to time.
