Great Winter Boots!
I always get my big guy coats and boots for the winter. Where we live we can get massive snow in the winter. If not snow, then we get lots of cold days with ice. The ice requires me to salt my driveway and that can be hard on bare paws. I got these boots because they were taller than the standard ones. I added suspender straps to keep them from getting lost when they came off. Seems no matter what I did he could step out of them...I almost lost one or two of them. The size is good for him and they fit perfectly. The one down side that I will say once they get worn is they don't hold their shape at the foot which makes them shift and bend. My dog winds up walking on the sides of them. They should improve the foot area with a reinforced, waterproof fabric that comes to the ankle. I'm not deducting anything stars for the design as they did the job protecting his feet and he was able to step in deeper snow areas when needed. He has ran this pair in the ground literally..so next year he will be needing a new pair. I would hope they improve on the sturdiness of the foot area since I have only my had these for about a month and a half. Most of his wear and tear is from the boot shifting when he is walking in deep snow or piles of deep leaves. I would repurchase if no better options present next year!

Fits my 148lb Rottweiler!
I have a 148lb Rottweiler with very large paws, and it's difficult to find shoes in his size. His paws are 3.6 inch wide. These shoes run a little big and they fit him perfectly. If your struggling to keep the shoes from falling off, it helps to use doggie socks that have grip material on them. Put the socks on and then the shoes. The sock give the shoe something to grip to, preventing it from slipping off. For dogs with sharp or long nails, the socks will help prevent the nails from ripping or poking through the shoe. I read reviews saying that the material around the legs was too stiff and the dog cannot bend its leg. I think the shoes have been redesigned because the material is not thick it all. It can be easily folded and bent. Overall, I'm happy with these shoes. They are good choice, especially if you have an XL breed with limited options.

Great solution for our snow hating pooch
This took a couple of tries and a couple of adjustments along the walk but we were actually able to walk in the snow with these for more than half a block. Success! They slip some and she would stumble here or there if they came loose and she stepped on the edge of the boot, but overall they worked pretty darn well for our needs. Also, she looks super cute (she's happier than she looks in this photo, I promise). The quality of these is really good - serious tread on the foot pad, solft fleece inside, qality fastiners and the elastic to tighten the top of the boot was clutch in the deep snow. We understand that no boot is going to be perfect - doggie legs just aren't made for them. But these were overall pretty darn good and worked for our needs.

Poor Design - Dogs Can Get Them Off Too Easy
I have used Dog Booties for years on my dogs, but the normal ones do not keep their legs dry so I thought I would try these taller ones. First rainy day was the first time to use them and I was concerned from the get go. I've always found you have to tighten those velcro strips pretty tight to keep them on, but its never been a problem until these. There is not enough velcro to attach to when you tighten the strips around their legs. To get them tight enough leaves about an inch of free hanging velcro which made it easy for both dogs to grab them with their teeth and remove them. My golden had three shoes off in left than 15 minutes and the other came back to the house with only two. Now I have 5 shoes somewhere in my yard to find once it stops raining. Extremely poor design with the velcro. I do not recommend these dog boots. stick with the shorter ones we've used before for now on.

Good quality but bad engineering
This product was a little hard to use. The quality was good but the engineering wasn't the best in my opinion. The product was to stiff to put on my dog and the material was just to hard.

Excellent dog boots
I was skeptical when I first put the boots on my dog. Couldn’t quite get them tight enough to stay up or not slip off his feet. (Yes I ordered the correct size). He was so excited to wear them! He was prancing and dancing, jumping around-not in a way of trying to get them off though. So at home he’d be so excited to wear them, they would fly off in less than 5 mins. They also have no traction on wet surfaces, like our porch. When we made it out to the flooded hiking trails, we had absolutely no issues at all!!! But I also think it is because we stayed at a walking pace. These boots do work as advertised.

Seemed warm but wouldn’t stay up
These were ok quality but did NOT stay up at all no matter how tight you pulled the bands.

What I've been searching for!
Finally, boots that are warm, tall and waterproof! My dog has worn them about four times so far, and they've been great. They stay on and her paws are dry and warm when we get back inside. I'm a big fan of Canada Pooch Soft Shield boots. I will always love them, but they are best in more dry cold conditions and powdery snow. I have been looking for boots that could stand up to slush and deep, wet snow. As soon as you feel these boots, you can tell that the fabric will actually keep water out--it is not merely water resistant, as most dog boots are. They also have a fleece lining that's thick enough to make a difference. The rubber foot/bottom is substantial enough to provide traction and additional waterproofing. The boots are tall and great for deeper snow and puddles. My dog has skinny legs, so I'm still getting the hang of wrapping the boots so they are secure but not too tight or restrictive. I also have to be sure to get her paw properly settled into the foot bed. I love that the boots have a toggle closure at the top as well as two velcro straps. If you have used Soft Shield boots, you know that those features make them easy to get on and stay on. I'm thrilled to have found these and at a reasonable price!

Perfect
Only just got them today but absolutly love them I have never found any waterproof booties for my American Bully only one thing I need to get more because his back feet are a little bit smaller then front feet but other then that absolutly perfect for when he has his sore feet and its raining out the rain, wet paths and wet grass make his feet so much worse so im proper happy I found these now hopefully his feet will be way better and stay better so glad I found these wish there was more like them ill still use his socks so he don't get blisters but it won't be because his feet get wet no more because its always raining and tiny bit of sun I have never commented on any products but this I am hoping it helps because they are 100% worth it he has struggled to walk at the minute but with his back legs so see how it goes gonna try get more for the back legs but honestly they seem like they are well worth it happiest iv been over dog shoes before lol
