You simply cannot go wrong with any of the Sturdi Product items! I have the single show shelter and a number of accessories such as pads, hammocks, pad covers, 2 carriers, etc. Note that the Car-Go shelter, the subject of this review, is NOT a carrier meant for transporting pets from the house to the car, for example. It is more specifically a smaller version of the show shelter. It is best suited for transporting pets in a car or keeping them otherwise "caged" (as in an emergency) when you want more room than a carrier would offer. I use it for a longer car trip and it is big enough so I can put a litter box in it In addition to a small bed. It's best if you have a flat surface as in an SUV or a van, but I have a car with bucket seats, so I had to be a bit creative to give the Car-Go a relatively flat surface to sit on. It can be secured with the seat belt. It's easy to pop open or fold shut, and there is enough room in the carrying case for the accessories (e.g., hammock and pad, sold separately). Great item for car travel with your favorite animal.

This thing is perfect as a travel kennel or as an option in the car. I have their bag as well which is amazing, I get comments on it all the time and compared it to maybe 6-7 other bags and there was no comparison. The quality on both products is amazing and I like that you can technically combine them actually (less relevant for a dog though). The kennel is super light as well, would highly recommend. My only complaint is the documentation is non-existent. Doesn't explain features, how to attach to seat belt, best way to connect to the sturdibag etc.

I got this to get my cat to enjoy the car more, it is big enough for him to move and it secures it with a seatbelt in the back. It was a tad bigger than my back car seat in a Hyundai four door Elantra so I had to find something to support the whole length and width of the carrier to make it level and I also had to tie it down by the top handle to a upper coat hook so it did not slide. So I did have to adjust to make it work. The carrier itself is great.

Very roomy and great quality. My dog panicked less in the car. I believe it to be safe and sturdy.

I bought a red one several years ago. I loved it. Used it all the time. Most of my dogs agility class bought them after I raved about them. Then the zipped got pulled so the teeth no longer lined up, so I bought a new one. They raised the price and you don't even get the pad/liner anymore. Very disappointed. For this very high price I could have bought 2-3 pop up kennels at Target.

I bought this for my cat at a cat show. I got the yellow one with the hammock add on. I got a good deal and was very excited to try it as I have other products by this company that I love.Unfortunately this product has not worked out for me and I have not been able to return it because I bought it at an exhibition event.I bought it to use in my car since my cat loves to go for rides and goes everywhere with me. But it is too long and hangs off the edge of my back seats making it difficult for my cat to get comfortable or move around inside. It ends up tipping over the edge to the floor even when buckled in. I would not recommend for smaller vehicles or be sure to measure your seats first.I also wish it was more “sturdi”My cat is average size and is too heavy for the hammock. When he tried to sit on it the whole thing collapses. I would not recommend this option unless your pet is under like 5lbs.Overall it is a nice product and I wish it had worked better for me, I am very bummed. Unfortunately buying it from where I did I was not provided with enough information by the seller to determine if it would work for my cat.Thankfully he likes it enough that I just leave it set up in the house and he sleeps in it. So I guess not a total waste of money.Good product if you do the research to make sure it Will work for your pet.

Perfect for traveling with your dog. We are using it as their crate while on vacation.
