Great nerf gun and you can combine with other guns from series.
The basic nerf gun comes in 2 pieces. The additional shield also comes in 3 pieces such that different parts (or the whole shield) can be attached to different parts of the base gun. The shield also connects together to form a standalone shield separate from the gun. If you buy other nerf guns from the same series they can create other configurations...great purchase and the darts from these don't fire with too much force so better for small kids. Also the priming mechanism ( for firing the nerf darts) is easier for smaller kids to operate. Great purchase ..can see this being a Xmas hit

Best one from this range, the shield is fab!
My 4yo son loves it and spent hours playing with it. Not just shooting!I was a apprehensive to get him a toy gun this early but he kept asking about it for months after seeing an ad for them. I finally gave in and bought the Iron Man one first for him few weeks ago and don't regret it. I must say my 4yo needed help at first loading it but then after few tries he now manages to do it himself. Also as you can build it in different ways, he now spends more time rebuilding it than shooting so I got him the Captain America one with a shield too last week and I have a VERY happy boy now who now has even more parts to contruct it with.Never thought that a toy gun could be such a nice construction toy at the same time haha

Great for any avenger fan
This was brought for my son for christmas he has had a blast playing with this and said it was one of his best presents.It is very sturdy which is good for a robust 6 year old.
