Summary: Nice and tight, no signal loss (that we could see), and exactly the orientation needed for our television.Long story: The engineers of our television were evil and sadistic. The HDMI ports are in the back and under a lip that is just above an outward curve of the bottom of the television. It is the darkest, most awkward place they could come up with, I am certain. We don't want to spend hundreds on a good HDMI switch, so for the few times we want to connect a game console, we do the swap.Also, most plugs "face" the wrong way for our television. You'll notice these have the straight side facing the plug. Most are the opposite. Yeah. Once again the engineers of our television were evil.We LOVE Twisted Veins HDMI stuff, but couldn't find a male/female extension cable from them. Only as a last resort will we EVER buy anything but a Twisted Veins or AmazonBasics cable. We had a cable (can't remember the brand, but it was a popular one!!) actually ruin one of our ports. Upon first use, it bent one of the wires up and deep into the port, and for the cost of repair, we'd be 1/4 way into a new television. So be warned: You do NOT want to go cheap with HDMI accessories!!! You also want to make absolutely sure you are inserting the plug carefully - straight and true. Of course, our television made that a sweaty, tricky task.So, here we are. We notice no signal loss and the connection is nice and tight. Being able to see the dang port and having it facing outward instead of down makes it much easier to access. Our media center is deep, so we don't have to worry about the cord "dragging" on the TV or adapter, so it works very nice for us.If Twisted Veins made a male/female extension cable, that would have been our FIRST choice, but these will do.PS. They send you cool (useful!!!) freebies, too! Velcro straps (that I'll use to hold our HDMI cables together to keep them organized), a screen/glasses wipe, and a key chain light - that I just connected to one of our Twisted Veins cables so we can use it while we swap! Win-win!!

... Twisted Veins (T.V.) consistently for years now has failed to disappoint me. T.V. is one of my favorite misc. cable and adapter companies on the planet. The packaging is so beautiful I'm always half tempted to save the boxes along with their customized black plastic bags emblazoned with their logo and throw away the cables. (Just kidding.) The packaging is THAT awesome though.T.V. has always presented excellent value as far as I'm concerned. This company always includes lots of great extras in the box too. For example, mini-flashlight key-chains, lightweight 'Velcro'-type cable holders, a cleaning cloth of some type. (I don't know what it's intended use is, but it looks cool.)Besides these being the great looking adapters that they are, they function perfectly. I have not encountered any problems or connectivity issues that would give rise for concern or criticism for everyday consumer use. As for myself, I will definitely buy their products again and I recommend them highly at their present (Oct. 2015) prevailing competitive prices as well. Thing is, it almost isn't fair to manufacturers of similar products in the same price range without the extras for value or the quality of Twisted Veins. No competition in too many cases. Absolutely first rate stuff AND, 'No" I am not compensated in any way for my reviews except in being a recipient of a product worthy of this praise that I personally do not indiscriminately just put out there for others to read just to be nice. That has to be earned and T.V. has earned all this from my experience with their products. Great looking stuff too. Did I already say that? Well it is. very attractive from the packaging to the product.Enough SAID already???

I needed to find an angled HDMI adapter to make my huge AVR fit into my entertainment center. While these do work for most HD applications and devices, it is not compatible with the latest HDMI standard. If you want arc functionality and or 4k Dolby vision and all the gaming features, this will not work. I am disappointed that these adapters handicap high end devices, therefore I had to give a lower rating.

These worked/fit perfect and there was no noticeable reduction in picture quality. My only complaint was the junk included in the package with these. I did not expect/want "free" keychain flashlights and cleaning cloths with this item. These are junk and they're just going to end up in the landfill. I wish the manufacturer would discontinue this practice. It's wasteful and adds unnecessary cost to the product.

I have a 32 inch television mounted on the wall in the kitchen. That's small for a flatscreen TV, and the HDMI cables go directly into the side right behind the screen. The cables were sticking out before I got these adapters. As I glanced up at the TV on the wall right now, I don't see any cables at all! Perfect solution to the problem that I was having. Highly recommended!

These work great, but the angle was just opposite of what I needed for my TV. When plugged into the HDMI port, I expected to be able to plug the incoming cable into the bottom of the right angle connector. However, these I would have to go around to the TOP of the connector, thus making an even sharper bend in the cable. After going back and reading again, it was my mistake that I did not pay closer attention the first time and went ahead and ordered 90 degree this time. Thankfully at this price, it was not a costly error on my part, but I would recommend you pay close attention to avoid delay or disappointment. :)FOLLOW UP: I am changing my grade from 4 to 5 Stars!!! Even though the wrong order was MY mistake, I got a call from them wanting to make it right, refund my money, and help me place an order for the right ones. What company in this day and age does this?? You have earned my business from now on, and I will be spreading the word on Twisted Veins!! THANK YOU!

Bought these for my Daughter and Son-in-Law TV because the HDMI ports sit flush on the left hand side of the TV as you look at the screen and I never realised this until I wall mounted it and put the leads in and the TV was on a slant! A quick look on Amazon and I found these and thought that these were the best value and had good reviews, so I bought them. After fitting these the TV sits flush against the wall and there is no loss in sound or picture quality. They came with three free Velcro strips and a mini key ring torch as well.

As per the reviews I read before buying these do the job well and are good quality too. I also received the three velcro cable straps, cleaning cloth and keyring torch. Great value, especially with the free extras, the mini torch in particular helped fit the adaptors. A great solution if cables poking out from the side of your flatscreen annoys you. The 270s worked perfectly for me but it's worth checking before ordering which way your TV HDMI sockets are fitted.

Bought this for our new smart tv.Two problems i immediately noticed:1/ they aren't actually a very good fit and not only is it loose in the hmdi port but the cable is also loose in it.2/ they are the wrong way round. i should've checked which way they go into the port but seriously i've never seen a port which is upside down so a cable comes from the ceiling.

Needed something like this to help routing HDMI cables and to avoid putting strain on the TV HDMI sockets. These fit the bill admirably and make a really positive contact. Also liked the idea of the included "freebies" which are a key ring torch and 3 Velcro cable ties. Would thoroughly recommend this product, just be careful to order the correct configuration, i.e. 270 degrees or 90 degrees.
