Silly question Will this fit 1970 Karmann Ghia?

Yes your ghia has a stock 1600 base engine. But before you spend the money first pull the drain cover and remove and clean the existing one its is more than likely ok to reuse. I also have reused gaskets to and put no sealers on them just wipe off with a paper towel. Next recomend a cover with a magnetic drain screw for the next oil change this eliminates alot of hassel and if any metal wear you may have. Also make sure you use an oil with a zine additive it helps on lifter ti cam lobe ware on flat tappet engine. Good luck !
