Great little fan. It sits on my desk and is often used in warmer months. Our office seems to be colder in the winter and warmer in the summer than the rest of the house, so it's nice to have the fan available. It doesn't take up much desk space and it really moves air. It's quiet too. Highly recommended.

GREAT little fan!! We're staying at a beach hotel that doesn't have a bathroom fan. This fan is perfect during showers to exhaust the bathroom out the window. Not to mention how quiet it is & small. The battery lasted at least through 3 showers plus a lot. Definitely worth the money!

This is a very small fan but it works great. I use it every morning while blow drying my hair and applying my makeup to keep me cool. I usually use the high setting and charge it once a week. The quality is top notch as I would expect from the Holmes brand, it is well made and feel sturdy. It is very quiet and does it's job really well. I highly recommend it if you need a small fan. It's a great size for small spaces and if you want to use it while working at a desk.

Lasted 8 years, I'm buying a replacement today! For the last several years I've used it on my nightstand every night. It always stayed however I aimed it and provided a good breeze with just enough noise to be pleasant and promote sleep rather than keeping me awake. It's gone up in price since I last bought it but still worth it if the new one lasts as long as this one did!

UPDATE: I Still love this thing. A rare example (at least the one I own) of a product with good value. It's fallen over many multiple times (almost never on hard surfaces) and it's still kicking with what seems to me the same battery life (which IMO is great). I can still use it for hours on varying speeds. No it's not super powerful, but it's also not super large or battery draining and on the highest speed you get a nice air flow if within a certain proximity, which for me works out good. It does pretty much what you'd expect from something its size. It's come in handy and saved me on all but the hottest days and also in circumstances when I've needed a portable way to help something air dry quicker or even stay cool, like an old gaming system 😆 . I still highly recommend it and may purchase another for next summer to get a good breeze going. 5 stars Holmes 👍🏻. IDK if there's a quality control issue based on some other reviews but this thing has been fantastic for me. I've left it in scorching hot cars MANY times. No damage. The speeds are appropriate and the highest setting puts out some decent air. It doesn't take a terribly long time to charge (maybe 2-3 hours from empty) and I was surprised how long a charge lasted. I've had this thing on for hours, cycling between speeds. It's a USB C connection and it's fairly compact with a lip to grab when transporting or moving it. I do wish it had some type of clamp or grippy bottom. It falls over a lot for a lot of my use cases but I can't fault the product for that. It can be challenging to position if you need it at an angle or in an area without a flat surface of its diameter. Propping on the slop sink corner edges while working under the car hood has seen it fall into the sink a few times haha. It's of course incredibly easy to use. 3 speed knob. It's been very durable so far and even when it took a hard hit from a moving vehicle, the only thing that happened was the speed knob fell off. (This has now happened more than twice). I clicked it right back on. I did notice it has an odd flaw where it occasionally stops momentarily on the first speed and then starts right back up immediately. (It still does this) This doesn't bother me and it only happens on the lowest speed. I'll update if anything changes but I've had this fan over a year of frequent use and it's been great. I'd absolutely recommend it.

I have had two of these little Holmes "high velocity" desk fans for years. The oldest one, probably 7 or 8 years old (likely older, I received it used), just died after years of excellent "high velocity" service. Because both of the fans I've had were excellent little "high velocity" fans, I wanted to replace the expired one with the same little fan. After ordering my new Holmes desk fan, my order was "lost" and I had to order a replacement for the lost order. When I received the little fan, in appearance, the exact same fan, I was quite disappointed in the velocity which was much "less" than the two older fans I'd had for years. In a strange twist, the "lost" fan finally arrived many days later. But, again, even with this "lost" but finally delivered fan, I was disappointed in the velocity of the fan. One of the two new fans had a little more velocity than the other, yet even that fan was significantly lacking the velocity compared to the two older fans I'd had for years. Based on my experience with these two newer fans, it would appear that the product is no longer of the same quality in velocity as the older fans. The difference in velocity is SIGNIFICANT between the two older fans and the two newer fans. I cannot recommend these newer fans because of the significant lack of velocity. Maybe the two new fans I received were "lemons", so to speak, but I'm not willing to try for a third one. Two stars were given because the fans were very quiet, operationally, and not at all distracting. UPDATE: I am returning the 2nd Holmes fan...it simply does not function to even the lowest expectations. I am replacing it with "efluky" 3-speed mini desk fan (at less cost). The ONE speed on the Holmes fan that I am returning has even LESS velocity than the replacement "efluky" 3-speed mini desk fan has at its LOWEST speed! And the "efluky" 3-speed mini desk fan has two higher velocity speeds!

Great size and speed levels very impressive

This fan works really well even a year after I purchased it. This was exactly the thing I needed for my desk as it's not too big or bulky. The hum is nice and quiet too so it's not distracting when I'm working.

The fan is too small but it is amazing, perfect for the room or desk and zero noise. I love it
