I've been looking ALL OVER for this!!!
I am a professional author and illustrator who "accidentally" found this product (details, unimportant). I was about to pay $35.57 on another site. Someone suggested I try Amazon.com. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Amazon. Had I not found this product, I would have had to find another medium and would have had to re-submit 35% of the illustrations for my current project! If it's too hard for little hands, maybe some re-marketing is in order, but please don't discontinue this product. I don't use it for everything but in some applications its perfect!

creative
I'm an artist with 30 years of experience. I was using oil painting to reach watercolor effect. This easy- squizy paint gives a bright vibrant colors to reach a beautiful effects for abstract paintings. I only wish to have the paint in regular bottles without brushes on the top. It would be easier to use and cost less.

Frustrating and high-maintenance
I'm so glad I didn't actually pay money for this, it was a gift. I agree with all the other reviews, although it does seem to wash up ok for us. Did the Parents company not test this product with kids to see if they could actually use it, or with parents to see if they were willing to put in that much work on set-up and clean-up? My very strong 5-yr-old boy can barely get the paint to squeeze out. But this is my biggest peeve: when cleaning up, you have to unscrew and wash 8 brushes, then recap with the 8 little caps and then screw on each of the 8 (did I mention there were 8) brushes. And if you don't do a really good job of cleaning them, they won't work very well. Then, when you go to use them again, you unscrew all 8 of the brushes, take out all 8 of the caps, and screw the 8 (I did mention that there were 8, didn't I?) brushes back on. Geez! I found myself telling my kids things like "you can only use 2 colors today." How creative can they be with a mean mommy who only lets them paint with 2 colors because she doesn't have time to unscrew, rescrew, unscrew, wash, and rescrew all the #@#$#$% brushes? Screw that! I solved this by dumping each color into a small pyrex bowl and giving each child one good old-fashioned paintbrush and a bowl of water to rinse, then rinsing and tossing the bowls in the dishwasher when they're done. Also, this paint is sticky and easily soaks through to the other side of the paper, so unless you hang the little creations quickly, they will stick like glue to whatever surface they are sitting on. On the positive side, the colors have kind of a nifty, bright, gel-like effect. In spite of that, overall, this is a terrible product.

one of the worst "kid" products ever!
Today is Christmas Day 2009 and one of my kids babysitters was so nice to buy this present for my 4-year-old son (who is VERY strong). It took me about 10 minutes to prep the paint to be ready for first-time-use as you need to remove the plugs inside each canister...which can be trying at times. My son was so disappointed because he was unable to squeeze the paint hard enough for it to saturate the brush (while holding it upside down). I stepped in to try and help him and even I had a difficult time! It takes so much pressure to push the paint out of the bottle I would be surprised that any child would be able to do it. I just looked on-line and can not believe the price...$30!! You should also know that the paint brush bristles are also falling out...my son finally got inventive and dumped the paint onto his paper and used the brush like you normally would, but it defeats the purpose of the no-mess... Did I mention that this "washable" paint stains skin, clothing, etc... I would steer far away from purchasing this present for any child. I hope they pull this off the market so more people don't waste their money! I am just sad that my babysitter wasted so much money on such a shody product.

What I just emailed to parents.com about this ridiculous toy...
Hi, I purchased the "Easy Squeezy Paints" for my 4 year old daughter for Christmas. Today we got around to using them...or at least trying to use them. After digging the stoppers out with my fingernails, I hoped to walk away for a few minutes while my daughter worked on her art. No such luck. I had to squeeze and mash until my hands ached. Then and only then, did we see the slightest bit of paint ooze out the bristles. That bit of paint marked about a 1/2" of the page. After getting a seriously aggravating work out, we managed to cover most of a piece of construction paper with paint AND BRISTLES...lots and lots of bristles. The bristles fell out immediately (even before we painstakingly mashed the paint out). I'd return the unbelievably ridiculous things but I had to tear the brightly colored packaging (that lured me in the first place) to bits to get to the paints. After what we had to do to them to get a bit of paint flowing, I doubt Target would accept them. Since there is absolutely no way my 4 year old would be able to easily squeeze the paints out of this poorly designed toy, I would like to know what to do about my wasted money. I won't ask for a hand massage and a clean up crew, but I would like my money back.

DO NOT BUY FRUSTRATING FOR ALL!!!!!
I am so glad we did not purchase this lousy product. I would really like to know who tested this and made it any parent's choice. It is very time consuming for the adult to prepare and clean-up. You have 8 little caps to remove, 8 little brushes to prime (which from the beginning didn't work well); then upon clean up you have 8 brushes to remove, wash thoroughly, replace little caps and replace paint brushes--if you have one child maybe no big deal, but with multiple ages and children this can be a set up for disaster! Also these paints do not clean up as well as they suggest. It doesn't even wash off your hands very well. As I type, I still have some purple, red, blue and etc pigment stained to my fingers which I washed multiple times with soapy water and even used nail polish remove. The nail polish remover made the best improvement. Please do not purchase this product, you will regret it. Use good old fashioned finger paints--tried and true to what they do and don't do--but they always wash off.
