i love this board for teaching swimming lessons. very good quality. helps learn kicking and floating skills in the water.

At first I bought the Adult size. But I am 5’2” and it was longer than I needed. So I returned for the junior. Very glad I did. I swim just fine with it and it fits much easier into my swim bag. Very sturdy, I am happy with my choice. Excellent quality!

When I opened the package, I felt that it was very soft. I'm hoping that the foam will harden over time, but if it stays this soft, it will be scratched and messed up.

This little guy has an almost suede-like texture and it feels nice in the hand. If you don't need to grip it -- that is, if you can simply rest your hands on the top as you motor along -- you can hang on to it without problem. Also, I like the bright yellow color: It's easy to spot on the pool deck at the end of your workout so you're less likely to accidentally leave it behind, and it stands out among the blue Speedo version that is more widespread. I wrote my name on the side with a Sharpie and it's faded very little.

I don't know what is going on these days, since so many manufacturers and stores just don't bother to give the measurements of their products anymore. As a result, I will give the measurements of this Finis Adult Board to others. Hey, Finis, you should pay me for doing this! Alright, Finis is a fantastic name for swim gears, and lots of swimmers know that. The quality of this kickboard doesn't disappoint me at all, very solid, doesn't absord water, and seems it can take some abuse. Why did I only give it 3 stars? The reason is that it is smaller than I expected. It is: (17 and 14/16) X (11 and 6/16) X (1 and 8/16) in inches. (Don't know a thing about junior's size.) Don't take me wrong, it is a decent sized kickboard, and my gripes are that: It is a Finis, so it is supposed to be better and bigger. I would like it to be about 19 inches long, and 12 inches wide. 1.5 inches in thickness is actually nice here.

I am 5'3" tall and 125 lbs. and this is the perfect kickboard for me. I have a short torso and this size is perfect for me. Durable, lightweight, great for the price.
