Certified InternationalTequila Sunrise Ice Cream Bowl, 5.25-Inch, Assorted Designs, Set of 4

I just loved these ice cream bowls when I saw them and ordered 4. I’m glad I waited to order more because although they are fun and festive, they are not durable at all. Two of them have already chipped and I’m very careful with my dishes, no kids at home, etc. have not dropped them, so I guess it’s the dishwasher.They are not microwave compatible. They are too hot to handle, after as little as 30 seconds.I wanted to use these and the plates I ordered to extend my china and use them for guests and parties.I’m not sure I can return them, and not sure I would want to reorder more for fear of them chipping, as well.

I bought three sets of these bowls in 2017 to match a set of blue fiestaware. They are beautiful and I absolutely love them. That being said, they have a downside. They get unbelievably hot in the microwave. If you want your food to warm up, you will need a hotpad to get the bowl out. Secondly, we have always put them in the dishwasher so that they are not touching another dish as I was afraid of chipping. For whatever reason, all of the bowls are getting tiny chips around the top edge. We are super careful with them, we don't have little kids at home anymore handling them, so we can't even figure out why or how this is happening. We are now going to only hand wash them as we wonder if just the movement of them on the dish racks is causing this. So, bottom line.... would I buy them again? Yes! They are beautiful vibrant colors and match a whole slew of colorful fiestaware. But I'd handle them as you would good china.
