DV-820 Sport Blue

I bought this camera because it was cheap, not thinking that I needed to buy a SIM card AND batteries. Well it comes with batteries but it ate them up in the 15 minutes I had it turned on trying to figure out how to take a picture. I'm extremely tech savvy but had such a frustrating time trying to use the camera I gave up and sent it back. I will stick to taking pictures on my iPhone.

I bought this little cam as a starter for videos and I have been very pleased with it. It does eat up batteries but I learned that energizer ultimate lithium batteries work fine and last. This was a very good deal from Amazon.

A superb waterproof HD camera for the price, it also takes very good still photos at just 5 Megapixels: which seem superior to certain previous cameras of mine with 8-10 MP on the spec. My only minor complaints are no image stabilization: so you have to pan carefully, and the waterproof locking mechanism on the battery / SD card doors are a bit fiddly, but you get used to them. If they gave the still photo setting a wider angle feature that would also be a bonus, but this is basically a well engineered camera that you can stuff in a pocket in any foul weather and forget about until you need it.
