Works just fine
These 4" hose clamps were easy to install and arrived promptly. As many reviewers have mentioned, the steel band that emerges from the tightening gear sometimes interferes with turning the thumb screw, but I found this to be only a minor annoyance. It's easy to hold the band out of the way when tightening these.

They work
Feel a little cheap, thump screw hits the metal band as it comes through and sticks out when tightening. I had to actually use both hands, one to turn the thumb screw, and the other to hold down the extruding metal band. Still, easier than having to use a wrench or screw driver.

LONG STORY SHORT: Bought these to connect a 4" Jointer dust collection flange to a 4" to 2.5" reducer...hoping that the two would connect together without a Hose Connector. They did not...(probably could have seen that coming) so I bought a hose connector, and switched out the Phillips head clamps for these Thumb Screw Key ones. They work great. Honestly...I would have been fine with the Phillips head ones because I never remove these pieces, but I was glad to save approximately 2 minutes of my life by thumb screwing it instead of the TERRIBLE inconvenience of finding a screw driver ;) I like em. I'm keepin em.

You get exactly what is advertised. Easy to use and tighten.
My apartment maintenance replaced my water heater, and broke the hose connecting to the dryer. The clamp they'd been using had an actual screw to tighten and loosen it, and it was 3 inches and too small for my dryer vent. No wonder it cracked and broke. I bought these, and what a steal! It literally took me less than 2 minutes to connect the hose and get this bad boy tightened up and it holds the hose fantastic and tight. Immediately worked!
