Versatile, Must-have French press for coffee and tea enthusiasts!
After being one of the essential tools in my kitchen for two years, this pot is so useful that I can brew more-than-enough amount of coffee or tea for two adults with its large capacity at one time. As a lifetime fan of both coffee and tea that I sometimes use ground coffee and tea leaves to brew, my favorite feature of this press is it did an impressive job of filtering out coffee grounds and tiny tea leaves from tea bags. Even using for a long period of time the press is still perfectly making tea without leaves pouring in my drink, and it’s pretty easy to use. I would say it can be a substitute to tea bags which have concern about microplastics that could pose a health risk. The wall of pot is made of clear and single-layer glass, so I don’t think it would maintain the temperature of hot coffee for long time. The opening of the pot is wide enough for easy hand washing. It’s also durable and I think I can keep using for a long while. If you’re looking for a great French press, this is the one you need and worth your money.

So much nicer than the other brand…
I am so glad I bought this when I did, as I noticed they have gone up in price. With that said, it is still less than the “top” brand: and a far superior press in my opinion. The size allows me 3 -4 cups of coffee, depending on the size of my mug. It presses really well, and not one ground to be had, no sludge in the cup either. The design is classic art deco which makes it a classy addition to the table. The handle does not look like it would be sturdy, but it is amazingly so, and easy to pick up and pour. The stainless steel surround is beefy without being heavy; and the glass is strong enough to survive my clumsiness. Oh yeah, the coffee tastes great, and steeps in five minutes. I highly recommend this press to anyone who is looking to have a great start to the morning with a dash of panache!

As functional as it is pretty
I purchased this after shattering my Bodum Press in the sink by accident. The replacement glass was so expensive that it just made sense to upgrade especially since I wanted the capacity to brew more for company. First of all, I have to say, it really looks sharp on the shelf. I was worried the handle would be uncomfortable, but fortunately that wasn't the case at all. The plunger action is very smooth and still keeps all the grinds at bay. The metal cage is firm enough to keep the glass in place, but just enough so the glass can be easily removed for washing. This was an issue with my Bodum press, having shattered one while trying to get it out of it's plastic cage. Yes, I've broken two French presses. The plunger is typical as far as disassembly and cleaning goes. The screen seemed to have less snaggy bits than my Bodum. Glass seems a little thin, but that's been every French press I've used. TLDR: Super easy to clean, smooth operation, great cup of coffee, and pretty enough to leave on an open shelf in the kitchen.

Good Quality Glass French Press
I bought this in 2021 and it has been a great addition to my kitchen. Easy to use and easy to clean. The carafe broke yesterday. I ordered the replacement carafe on this site, because this is an expensive item to replace. The carafe is the same brand, I will let you know if there are any problems with the replacement. I enjoyed having this as an alternative to my keurig, and as a way to make iced coffee.

Love this as a tea press!
I adore this french press. We use it exclusively for making tea. It has actually made a huge difference in the flavor of our tea and gives our large leaf teas plenty of room to expand and move around (which, yes, does matter.... the tea needs room to swim and contemplate the mysteries of life. Really.) The whole thing fits together very well, very snuggly. The design of the strainer also makes it really easy to take apart and put back together, unlike some others I have used which are like balancing acts to put together again. The only thing to watch out for here is that there is a small washer that could easily fall down a drain if you're not expecting it to be there when you pull it apart. The lid IS plastic but I don't mind because it still looks very nice, and I have to hold it when pouring to make sure it doesn't move around, and plastic of course is not going to be hot to the touch. The mesh has started to take on some stains (not sure if it's actually rust), but I think that's my fault because I don't always take it apart and wash it every day. It's very easy to pour because of the handle design, even when the whole thing is full and heavy. Overall, this thing is awesome. I want another.

Glass easily breaks, product is not the quality it once was
I am a long time Grosche french press user and the last one I bought a year ago (Oct 2024), was not the same quality. Within a year the glass broke (during a dishwasher cycle, fine when loaded, one big chunk broken off when taken out). So I ordered another, just received it today and the bottom glass was shattered still in its wrapping!! Clearly not a sturdy product anymore. Plus the metal frame now rusts when put in the dishwasher (my original one years ago did not...first one lasted 10 years -- bought Nov 2014!) I won't be buying anymore Grosche products.

Perfect Product
This product is something that I never thought i needed. If you want a rich and stronger coffee flavor then this is your best bet. Having the coffee grounds sit in the water for longer gives you a rich and stronger coffee taste. You can also use it to make tea which i will be trying in the near future. I highly encourage anyone to buy this product as it is a very good and simple product.

Like coffee, consider this the Cadillac of coffee presses
In the world of French Presses this is a smooth machine. As long as we use good beans we always get great coffee. It’s even better because we can control what’s going on. That’s the wonder of French presses, you can easily brew for as long as you desire while you see what’s going on. I like having control over the whole process. There’s a certain satisfaction to slowly plunging the grounds. Coffee machines are nice but I still prefer the press. Like other coffee addicts, I appreciate that the volume of coffee that can be made in this press exceeds most others by 50%. The press is nicely designed and engineered. All of the pieces slip together nicely and fit properly. The handle is designed so that even though it’s all wire it still remains comfortable to hold and pour, it’s well plated and in the last year and a half there has been no rust. All of the metal pieces look as good today as when it arrived. The beaker fits inside this wire frame so snug that I've never been able to separate the two. The cap is a very snug fit and guides the press without binding. The way this is made, I expect to be using it for years.
