I use it to replace the somewhat less than desired supplied strap on my Fuji X-mount camera (the neck strap is a bit too inflexible and not all that comfortable to wear). This Op/Tech strap is designed to be worn over one shoulder (like one might carry a mail travel sack), with the thicker part of the strap on the shoulder itself. The remainder of the strap lays diagonally down the body as it descends to the waste. But the think that makes this different is that there is a small camera attachment (detachable) which can actually slide up and down the main strap. This means that, once you've connected the camera, you can let it dangle at the bottom of the strap (near your waste), and even keep a hand on the camera, if you wish. Then, when you want to take a shot, you just lift the camera, and it slides up the main strap, and the weight of the camera is somewhat absorbed by this connection. This one is ideal for a small camera like the Canon PowerShot SX740 HS that I used it for. the padding is very comfortable, and the length goes out enough to wear across your chest and under one arm, or just around the neck.
