Sylvania SRCD243 Portable CD Player with AM/FM Radio, Boombox(Green)

This is a very nice CD player. So far, I'm only using it plugged in so I don't know how it might perform on battery power. My only negative is that the highest volume isn't loud enough to hear it clearly if I go into the next room. But if I miss too much it is easy to go back to the previous cut and replay it.Update: After 3-4 weeks it quit working completely. Definitely wasn't worth what I paid for it.

I love listening to music when I work outside. I like the feature that lets me hook up my ipod and listen to my own music. the last radio I had was ols and when this feature wore out I had to buy another radio. Also the radio part works great. I was a little skeptical because it doesn't have an antenna but it works great I get my favorite stations. Good buy for the price.

I love the looks of the CD player and easy to use and it matched my nursery. However, I bought two now--one to replace another but actually the problems is with the CD player. Every CD I put in there sounded "scratch." First I thought it was the CDs and many of them could have been scratched with children and I threw them out but then I just put in a brand new CD and it sounds bad as the others. Now I realize the quality of the player is horrible. Please don't waste your money on this product. As adorable as it looks it cannot play a song. Songs get stuck, all of them sound scratch and I must now throw my second CD player in the garbage literally. Oh this makes me mad that they can sell a product that does not work and not tell us the truth about it!

I have another player like this that I love and use all the time. This particular one did not work and I have to return it.My other player like this is great and I use it all the time with my grandsons. I appreciate the quick return and refund.

Bought this to take to a drive in movie theater that you bring your own radio to listen. It worked like a charm. We did have the volume all the way up and it was clear and easy to hear. It does take quite a lot of batteries though. I bought extra batteries just Incase it went dead half way through the movies but we didn’t have an issue. It played 4 1/2 hours straight with no problems.

I can't believe it sounds that nice. I use it next to my bed to drum out the loneliness on the nights I have no man there with me. But it's really pretty I love that green I call it green apple.Good sound. Volume goes really low... Like some go low but not low enough...It's small. But Amazon always has something cool.

We wanted a simple CD player for our daughter's room, and this has done very nicely. No, of course it isn't an amazing stereo experience, but the sound is not bad. The color options make it fun for kids rooms (we went with the green to match the other colors in her room). The controls are easy to figure out even without any instructions. I honestly haven't even tried the radio, so I can't say how good that is or isn't. So far, a good choice for us.UPDATE: Sadly, this is a "you get what you pay for" deal. As of August the CD player has completely stopped working (less than a year since it was purchased). The volume dial has also developed a strange issue. Instead of smoothly moving the volume up and down, it crackles and fades in and out as if we were tuning between radio stations. We have tried the radio now because that's all it's good for. Radio works fine. We're looking for a replacement.

I knew I was buying a cheap CD player, but now I know what a cheap CD player does. It plays music with adequate quality for my purposes, but if you bump or lift it during play it skips or stops.
