Big improvement over factory speakers. I have installed them in my last two F-150's.

Powered by a reference 3004a, these scream!! They are power hungry b*tches but fed properly, no one and I mean no one can complain about these. I think a switch to textile tweets from silk dome design really makes these shine. Highs are sharper and more focused than silk dome without the harshness you have to tune out of metallic tweets. Kind of a best of both worlds in my view. Mid bass is sometimes violent on the 6.5s I tuned them down a bit as they like to hit lower than they should. Once I had my tune done I can open my doors turn off my subs and clearly hear the music from over a block away. Please understand that is with near 0 distortion. sounds like a concert is on down the street. This isn’t the best mid bass/ high setup you’ve ever heard but they are in a car. You just can’t get perfect sound in a car. If you want clean and loud to keep up with subs or you like your music so loud the neighbors complain, for this price (I know it’s a lot)... You will never find better.
