I installed with a cascade directly into the pond and use a 4200 GPH pump which produces a nice curtain over the 19" weir. The pond is 6000 gallon and I have two Helix skimmers that feed into the pump for this filter fall. I used lava rock as the filter media and put lemon bacopa in the top. Make sure you install with approx. 1/2" tilt back to front. Mine is level and the plants obstruct the flow some which causes the water level at the back to be to close to spilling over. We have to check weekly to make sure the plants aren't causing a leak. Great bio filter action. Very happy with the Bahama filter fall. Review: Love it - Works great.
