Worth the purchase
Definitely needs to be seasoned. Tried to fry sausage patties, they stuck badly! No big deal just need heated up and wipe down with some oil and that fixes the problem. I normally buy Lodge brand, they are fully seasoned. Cuisinel is a well made pan other than that. The casting is smooth with no pitting, cracks or flashing globs. Lid is very nice. I would buy again

Absolutely LOVE this skillet. It is large, the lid washes well in the dishwasher, and the silicone pieces are super handy (no pun intended).

Great value cast iron skillet
Delivered on schedule. Well preseasoned, so just wash and use. Made home fries and they browned up nice and no sticking. Having the glass lid great help. The plastic scraper is very helpful.

The skillet is soo well made .. It says QUALITY,FIRST CLASS .and there is no doubt in my mind when I say..it will last a life time.I have not been able to use it,my ill health has seen to that.i am sure that heat distribution etc will be as it should be.It is with a heavy heart that I have to return it.

Unsafe to use
After one use and one wash pan is covered all over with rust. Unsafe to use. Extremely disappointed, paid lots to get decent cookware.
