It measures 50inches with handlebar and monitor hangover. Also need to leave a small amount of space to get on and off around the bike, but not much

Can you change the pedals for spd cleats?

I believe you can as it is very customisable as you can also change the saddle and handle bars if you wish.

Is this suitable for a senior who has never ridden a bike?

It depends how fit you are. It doesn’t come assembled but 2 people can put it together. The instructions are straight forward. It’s an excellent fitness bike and makes a whirring sound like a Concept Rowing machine.
