Good piece for installing a dishwasher.
I recently installed a dishwasher in our kitchen and needed this piece for the drain tube on the dishwasher. It fit well after cutting it to the side we needed and the drain tube fit perfectly with a hose clamp. We had never had a dishwasher, so I had to reconfigure the plumbing and electricity in order to install it.One thing to note: our kitchen sink is a dual sink, and I had to do a fair amount of work with the other pieces to get everything to fit and function correctly. My suggestion if you have a dual sink is to buy a dual-sink kit with the dishwasher port built in rather than use this single-sink piece on one side. It'll make the whole plumbing setup a lot easier with less parts and less problem-solving.

Great replacement piece!
Came with everything I needed to replace the old one and seems to be working great! Incidentally, I have never replaced a plumbing pipe in my life and I'm not handy at all, but this was very simple. The directions confused me a bit at first, but after playing with it for a minute I could easily tell how it worked. No special tools were needed!

Does not fit standard dishwasher drain hose
Beware! Drain hose inlet on this is 7/8”. Standard dishwasher drain hose is 5/8”. My bad for not checking more carefully before I bought.
