Lovely moulds. The smaller Skep style mould is very easy to use indeed. The larger mould has needed a bit more finessing and practice to get a reliable result, but the fidelity of the modelling is excellent along the whole height. I would disagree about cutting the mould - it is flexible enough to remove the cooled candle without needing a slot. It does however need a little extra support around the base when you pour the wax to prevent it bowing out with the pressure of hot wax. A piece of normal paper wrapped around the bottom 2/3rds of the height and secured with sellotape prevents this problem, and is easily removed to take the candle out of the mould and can then be reinstalled (with some new sellotape).Perfect!

The small one is easy to use makes great candles. The larger one is much harder to remove and the bottom is the top making it difficult to get a flat finish but still a good buy

Large Mold is 220ml, or 220g of candle wax.Small Mold is 50ml, or, we used 90g of wax, don’t know why, but 90gYou need to put a tiny hole in top to poke wick through, if it leaks pour tiny amount of melted wax to plug the leak.These are lovely moulds, fantastic, they burn from around 5 hours to 7 + hours, depending on the wax used, we mixed bees with soy.They are NOT level when turned out, melting bottom on a hot pan, cutting wick will level it out fine.

I used the moulds for beeswax and coconut oil candles. The taller ones is not good. It’s uneven and doesn’t sit well at all. The skep mould is okay.

Read previous reviews and decided to cut the moulds and use elastic bands to hold seams together, pierced a hole in the bottom to thread wick through, really pleased they were so easy to remove the candles from the moulds. If using a lot of wax I will buy another set to make lots of candles.Very pleased with my purchase and would recommend.

Good moulds to use and easy to get out of

I loved everything about these moulds!! I had no problems at all removing the candles. Using beeswax is so lovely! Sets quickly, lovely detail and I would definitely recommend this product!

I made beeswax candles for my family for Christmas with these and they loved them! I poked a hole with a small nail and threaded the wick though then taped it with masking tape. I taped the other end to a pencil with masking tape and centered it over the middle of the candle mold then poured the melted wax in. They turned out really well and there was no leakage! Wait for your candles to fully cure/dry over about 10-12 hours before attempting to remove them from these molds or you might end up having a bit of trouble with their shape. I recommend using unfiltered beeswax for that really nice honey smell that it gives.

Excellent moulds. Easy to use and so realistic. I only had to make a hole in order to insert the wick. Bit a bug job :)
