Yardley By Yardley English Lavender Luxury Soaps 3x3.5 Oz Each

I buy this for a friend who simply loves lavender-scented soap. She says this is the best she's ever had -- it lathers up luxuriously, has a wonderful scent, and the bar lasts a long time. She doesn't like me giving her gifts, but did not say no to the second package of this soap! It costs more than the disappointing "Yardley" soap from the dollar store, but seems to be superior in every way.

I love Yardley Soaps. Especially the Lavender. Been using Yardley Soaps for years and will continue to use them. They use great quality scents. Great value for the money.

Like: a quality soap. Three-milled is my taste. I’ve stayed with, for 50 years. Once I found a load at 99-cent store for 50 cents each (I figured it may have come from a truck wreck.) I bought a lot and used for years. Now I pay a lot to keep it going.

I have been using Yardley's lavender soap for years. What a disappointment when I recently purchased it. There is no lavender scent whatsoever. If I had wanted an ordinary soap I could have bought one at the drugstore. Yardley's joins a growing list of iconic British products which have lost their excellence by trying to make products on the cheap. (Cadbury's; Terry's). Yardley's is an Indian company not a British one. Rather than send the product back and wasting the postage, I am chucking it and buying another brand. Yardley's should be ashamed of itself by stinting on ingredients and trying to pass off this crap as "lavender soap".
