This fits standard size silver bars in capsules. While the vast majority of silver bars are this standard size, there is no official requirement that they are, but if the bar fits in a standard capsule, the capsule will fit in this box.

It holds standard size one ounce .999 bars in capsules, so the key is whether the bars fit into the capsules. A bar can't be thicker or thinner than a standard bar and have the other dimensions stay the same, because by definition one ounce bars of .999 silver all have the same volume and you can't change one side without changing the others. While I have seen some silver molded into special shapes such as squares or cubes, the vast majority are going to fit into standard capsules which fit into this box. Other metals, copper, titanium, platinum, gold, are likely to be different sizes because those metals have a different density from silver.
