Tramontina Bestow Enameled Cast Iron 4-Qt Braiser Pan with Lid, Blue

Thoroughly impressed! After only two months of ownership I can't attest to the longevity of this Tramontina braiser, but after several uses I can say that it functions perfectly. For starters the braiser arrived very well-packed to prevent damage in transit. The "smoke with gold knob" combination is beautiful if that matters to you. The enamel, both inside and out is flawless. I've done a few chicken braises and find that clean-up is easy. The enamel releases any stuck-on particles with a few swipes of a soapy sponge. The quality of this Tramontina piece looks to be the equal of two, far most costly Le Cruset pieces that I own. Time will tell how well it holds up, but in the meantime I recommend it without reservation.

I love a good braiser! This 4 quart gorgeous enameled cast-iron cooks with minimal fats needed, excellent heat transfer and retention. The large surface area will allow food to be cooled for storage fairly quickly. I’ve used it twice already since I received it. It’s great for chili, making a pan full of stewed veggies or slow cooking. Also, it cleans up like a dream. I always put it back and its original packaging until next time. This pan is great for entertaining from stove to table also it’s so beautiful. The last thing I needed was another pan, but this was a highlight-a perk and great addition to my kitchen collection.

After purchasing similar Lodge product, a brand I have trusted for many years, I was forced to return due to chipping of the enamel both before and am following use. The Tramontina braiser was far superior to the Lodge product, evidenced by a visual inspection upon receipt but also after use. There has been no damage to enamel during cooking or washing product. Super happy with this pan not only for its durability, but for its beauty. It’s visually stunning and a great addition to my collection of cookware.

I cannot express how much I love this braiser. I have never left a pot or pan on my stovetop, I do have many pretty ones ( Dutch oven, cast iron of all kinds etc) but this workhorse is absolute perfection in appearance but I leave it out for the simple reason I can do just about everything I need with it from breakfast , lunch to dinner. Easy to clean and makes the most amazing meals!

Beautiful and functional. I couldn’t ask for a better braiser at this price point. Honestly, I cannot notice any difference between this pan and another one I once paid over $200 for.

Solid pan with a large base which is good for gravies & braising. This is has even heating on it and a heavy weight.. so when I get cooking it doesn't slide around. This is the same as cooking on an iron skillet, except you don't have to worry about seasoning the pan. Cook whatever you want in it, then wash out it. No worrying of rust like cast iron. The only downside is, that it came with a small chip off the corner of the lid.

Amazing product. Love cast iron cooking and food does not stick to this pan. Easy to clean. Love it!

I have a set of Le Creuset in meringue, but I needed a larger braising pan for meal prep and bigger dishes. I spotted one of these in a shop, but they didn’t have any in the color I was after, so I came looking online and found it! Side by side, this is a PERFECT match for the “meringue” color. The only giveaway is the knob on the lid. This thing is massive and definitely requires two hands when handling, but it’s already been such a game changer. I was ambitious for the first use and seared two whole branzinos— they were a little big, but boy, were they good. This isn’t normally how I break in a pan, and honestly, I didn’t use enough oil for it being the first use. By the second use (a veggie curry with leeks, mushrooms, etc), it already showed signs of improvement. This pan is going to prime quickly, and it’s meant to be used often! The price for this level of quality still blows my mind.

I was looking for one that was more shallow than the typical Dutch oven. I love this one! And the blue is a beautiful colour. It washes very easily. I’ve already used it several times.

This Dutch pan was perfect! It doesn’t leave our stove top that’s how often we use it. Looks just like it did since we got it.
