Amazing LED SPA light. Very easy replacement of my old SPA light after it burnt out this summer. I cut off the old light in the pool, spliced the wires together and used it to pull the new wire into the junction box. A very quick and easy replacement.The light itself is awesome with multiple color schemes. I have not bought the controller so I have to toggle the switch to change the color schemes. Not a big deal for now. I also have the two pool lights to replace so I plan on buying controller at that time. The kids really like the changing colors and it looks pretty cool during parties. No regrets.

The LED Color Changing Lights add a nice ambiance to the pool and it's fun during pool parties. The red color isn't my favorite but our son loves it. Now I want the full Pentair pool automation. Changing the light setting is a pain (we have 1 large light in pool and smaller spa light in attached hot tub). To synchronize them both to the same light color or pattern, the switches have to be turned on and off simultaneously. It recalls the last light setting if you find one you like. There are remotes available but ultimately I want the control panel that allows full pool automation and control vis the Pentair ScreenLogic iPhone app!

This product in and of itself is fine. It’s not the best, but it’s okay. This company is absolute garbage. I received a defective light from this company 1100$$ and they refuse to accept a return because I “installed it”. Htf am I supposed to know if it’s defective unless I install the product???Bottom line, pentair is an okay light, but anything from this company is a buyer beware.

I replaced my old incandescent 500 watt total pool and spa lights with Pentair's color changing 5G LED pool, spa, and controller for a total of just 90 watts total, less than the wattage of my old 100 watt incandescent spa light alone. This alone gets 5 stars! When I first installed the lights, the spa light didn't always light. I was able to work with the same Pentair representative who assigned a local pool professional to resolve this problem. Pentair reduces their year warranty if you self-install like I did. These lights use pulse frequency modulation to communicate with each other. The pool guy indicated Pentair switched from analog to digital modulation and this may have been the cause of my problem. It's usually the pool light that doesn't always start unlike the spa light in my case. The color change always remained in sync. Replacing the spa light cured my problem, and everything has worked perfectly since. These lights have a replaceable circuit board so you don't have to replace the whole light assembly if there should be a future problem.

Pretty expensive and not that bright. Once burned out, your out all. Have to replace whole unit. No replaceable bulbs.

Light works great three times installed. Test your light before you install it. Packaged in a separate box. This needs to be done every time.

No one else in my neighborhood has one! It's pretty cool but the multi, color changing is overkill.A nice upgrade after draining the pool.

Light works really good. Coupled with the multi switch, super easy to use.

Easy installation. Works as advertised. Great product to upgrade outdated Halogen pool lighting.
