It is a shame Synology doesn't make the original power supply better. I have the 1019+ and it is 4-5 years old. If your system stops working there is a good chance it is the power supply. You can do some diagnostics with flashing lights and removing the drives, but I think the odds are better than even that replacing this part will fix your problem.

Have just had this a few weeks and it is working great.This lasted only 8 months. Very disappointed.

I bought this to replace the supply on my Synology DS918+ which died. All the specs are the same. Works like a champ for a faction of the OEM cost.

The original adapter for the 1019+ is 12v 10a. This adapter is 12v 8.3a.

Just what was needed.

It works perfectly fine.
