Switches work!
These switches worked for my garage door. I took an old garage door opener, added a Raspberry Pi and these switches and made my garage door wireless to recognize when it’s open or closed.

Working well at 3.3V logic level. One was high-resistance at first, but fixed by a hard drop
I have several sets on 50-100' wire lengths back to an MCP23017 I/O expander chip at 3.3V, set to generate an IRQ on edge events. As with most switches, they were quite "bouncy" at first, but a 1uF cap across each (at the controller end) solved that Contact resistance was generally 3-6 ohm, which was fine, but one side of one of the switches (I can't remember if it was NO or NC side) was up over 600-800 ohms at first, varying slightly on every cycle, but never as bad as the one in Nancy's review. However, this "fixed" itself after I accidentally dropped it about 5' on to a concrete floor, and has operated reliably ever since! I used large enough pull-up resistors (22k?) on these sense lines to hopefully tolerate that level of contact resistance if it returns, but after 4 months, it's still under 10 ohms. The double-throw design of reed relays inside these could make intermittent marginal contact more likely. I'd have chosen NC-only (closed when magnet is present) if those were available for the same price. You really don't want to run any significant current or voltage across these. It may work at first, but contacts are unlikely to last very long in this role. Use a FET, etc. if needing to directly switch a load.

Great for very low amperage situations
I am using these on my snap-on tool box to trigger lights in my hutch and locker when I open them. At first I used this straight to power the lights but when one switch overheated and did not turn off when closed I decided to trigger relays with these instead and they have worked perfectly every time now.

Worked great, they may be "stuck" O/C upon delivery
I used these in my RV to have some closet lights I installed come on automatically when any of three doors open. These were really easy to wire although getting the metal place to align was a challenge because it could spin within the channel for the connection, this could be solved by weeding the metal plate or making the molded channels a little closer together. Once I got it all wired up, I had trouble getting them to work properly. I noticed that about half of the sensors were "stuck" and need a decent tap on them to get them to free up. After tapping the sensors, they worked as expected. This was very frustrating to work through though but a tap with the back of a screwdriver is all it took. These have worked flawlessly since install and its a huge upgrade to my RV with something so simple!

No/nc magnetic switch works good
Works as discribed i used it to activate a led light when a door is opened into a dark room they are a bit cheesy feeling for the mony and i wouldnt put in serious voltage through them but they work
