Excellent device. The USA Gear DualGRIP Steady Shot DuraNeoprene Wrist Strap is designed to hold your camera steady with one hand without the fear of dropping the camera. Steadies the shot very well due to the secure fit of this device. Great for action photography. Well designed and constructed. There is a quick disconnect so you can keep the wrist cuff on and detach the camera, great when you need to change batteries of cards and need full access to the camera. The mount is well though out, has two positions to connect to a tripod and swings away without coming off so the battery can be replaces without having to remove the device. I am using the DualGRIP on a Canon T3i.

Got two of these for both my cameras. I film and shoot in the wilderness, so I have to have my hands free in an instant, but also have a good grip on my camera. Got two of these for my cameras and they are fabulous to work with. You can used them on either the right or left hand and the added wrist strap, makes working with these, left handed, so much easier. Before, I had an over the neck strap on my cameras and I would wrap the thing around my wrists. Got in the way bad, couldn't get out of it quick, when necessary and with these wrist straps, just as strong, durable and even more reliable than anything else I have used so far. Great to work with outdoors or in, for that matter.

I'm not a big fan of having straps around my neck. I cant even wear turtle neck shirts. It all drives me insane. That being said, I seen this product and figured I would give it a try. The wrist wrap attaches pretty easily, however, I do seem to have a problem adjusting the straps to fit my hand snug. The actual wrap that goes around the wrist is pretty comfortable. I own a Canon EOS Rebel T3i 18 MP CMOS APS-C Sensor DIGIC 4 Image Processor Full-HD Movie Mode Digital SLR Camera with 3.0-Inch Clear View Vari-Angle LCD and EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens and it did not feel to weight bearing with this strap attached. As one person mentioned, the product I received was made by Vivitar. I like their products so I did not mind that I did not receive a wrist wrap that was not 'exactly' as shown in the picture. I promise, it functions just the same. I can't say that I can see this strap being useful in a situation where you want to bring you camera along with you and you are only taking a few photos here and there such as if you are in an amusement park walking around randomly taking photos of your family. I would probably use this wrist strap more so in a situation where you are constantly taking photos and you might need you hand free for a few seconds here and there, such as a photographer taking pictures of a model and needs to fix their clothing for a shot. But even in that situation, the camera tends to swing around a bit when you don't have your hand gripped on it, and I doubt a photographer would want their investment swaying around like that. It's a cool concept, but I don't think it will fit into everyone's situation. If it does happen to seem like a product that will benefit you, then I can say that this is a good quality strap that will last and the price can't be beat. Hope this helps!

Amazing Best Buy ever!!

I absolutely love this! I have petite hands and my Rebel T7i is kinda big for them so I always worry if my palms sweat ill drop it. I have a neck strap but its so infuriating when trying to do macro when I am crawling around or leaning off an edge to get a good picture. It's very soft feels really nice around my wrist gives me a good sense of security. I like the clasp that you can unbuckle for easy "letting go" while still wearing the wrist strap. And the pattern is very nice too!

I have been trying to find a way to have both a neck strap and a wrist strap on my camera simultaneously. After purchasing a few other less expensive wrist straps, I have finally found one that is both attractive AND comfortable! This is EXACTLY what I have been looking for! The wrist wrap feature is an added bonus. When I’m on my photo walks, I am most comfortable holding my camera in-hand. Unfortunately, fatigue and sweat palms tend to kick in and I have to either hang it from my neck or put it back in the camera bag. The USA Gear TrueSHOT Dual Grip is the perfect solution. The key to getting both neck and wrist straps on the camera has been choosing the proper tripod adapter. I used the adapter from one of my previously purchased wrist straps since the one that came with this one was not compatible with my(or seemingly anyone else’s) tripod. I may return with a long term review after a few weeks/months of use.

The strap is decent quality, and the idea for this kind of configuration is actually very cool. I like it. The part that is weird is the top part of the strap (between the thumb and forefinger) connects to my cameras (Canon 70D & T4i) in a place that puts your hand in an awkward position in relation to the shutter. I have to greatly loosen the strap at that point so I can reach the shutter. The wrist clamp is great however and gives a good sense of security. The overall built quality is good, but not great. The straps have frayed to the point where I have to cut off a good inch of strap. I can't really see how this won't happen again, as my attempt to burn the edge to stop the fray didn't work. It's only a matter of time until the fray creeps into strap length that I need. I would probably be more apt to buy this product again if it were leather or some other grade material. Overall I don't regret for the price, but I wish it were just a bit more stout.

I recently purchased this item. I have used a similar camera strap for several years and prefer this type of strap. I was a bit reluctant due to the wrist strap. The strap turns out to be a non-problem. It is easily removed or added. I thought the wrist strap might be uncomfortable, but it is not. This camera strap appears more secure than my previous purchase. I strongly prefer a camera in my hand rather than around my neck

Comfortable very good material and heavy stitching

I just love this product. As a young photographer with a very heavy camera I find a lot of the time the neck strap makes me neck so sore just from the wait of the camera. I got this and I have never wanted to use the neck strap again. This holder is very comfortable, stylish and durable. I've gotten it wet on accident and it dries up pretty well, the clip to undo the wrist peice from the camera is a life saver. My only problem is I do find in the summer my wrist does get quite hot and sweaty. I do recommend this product if your finding a neck strap is frustrating and hurting.
