Ironing Board Cover & Pad Moderate Natural

Bought to replace my older Polder Ironing Board cover, at least 12 years old, and this new cover fit perfectly on my Ironing Board. Take up pull strings securely tighten and remove any slack to keep the surface flat. Impressed at how well this works to iron crisp creases in shirts and pants. No silver flaking from the surface. I iron a lot and place high demands on the products I purchase. This one is a keeper.

I researched ironing board covers because I bought a new board, which is a bit wider than normal. This seemed to fill the bill........but because I had been putting various covers in the shopping cart, and then deleting them, I did not realize I'd purchased THREE until the package arrived. I didn't feel like sending the other two back, so I took one to my women's club meeting, and one to my bridge club -- and sold both on the spot! You'll love this cover. It has no annoying prints, it's thick canvas- type material, has great padding, and the bungee stretch makes it fit beautifully Five stars!

My parents gave us our extra large Polder ironing board years ago and they had it for a few years prior. It’s so awesome but it’s cover was really bad and morning and had burnt on starch etc. This cover fit perfectly! Looks great and seems just as durable as the original. The color is a nice gray with a slight shimmer/metallic look. It’s lightly padded but I decided to keep my original cushions underneath it as well and it still fit well. I’m super happy with my purchase and was so happy to have been able to find a replacement cover and not have to invest in a new ironing board that I know would not be as heavy duty as the one we have. *we do A LOT of ironing!*

This works great for what I intended. I iron a lot since my fiance travels on business all the time and we both wear nice trousers and button down shirts daily. Plus, I sew a lot, and anyone who sews knows you need to iron seams and fabric. I needed something heavy duty because of all of that. It was a little smaller than what I expected from end to end, even though I had measured my ironing board and looked at the dimensions online. Luckily its wide enough, and the fact its a little small end to end makes it stay taught. I was able to get it to work fine since it tucks under a metal rack for hangers and the iron that extends out the back so that holds it in place. I like how thick the material is so it covers the metal part well. I also like the thick elastic on the edge, it helps hold it on the ironing board really well. It is much thicker than my last ironing board cover, which is great since it sometimes left the patterns of the board on lighter weight materials. All in all, it is a good purchase, it doesn't seem to burn or scorch even with a very hot iron. Its good as a high use item.

I'll admit I don't know what brand ironing board I have (it's many years old), but I measured carefully before purchasing and made sure to buy a corresponding cover. But I just put this on and it fits so poorly - the wide end is too long and bunches, the sides barely make it far enough to grip, and it was a struggle to fit the narrow end over the board. It's lumpy in places and the pad is so thick and spongy. Some people might like that, but I find it makes it hard to get a good firm press, especially with things like darts, pleats or creases. I saw the overall high rating and chose to purchase this, but I wish I had read the actual reviews first - many people have documented these same issues.

This cover seems well made, very happy with the quality. The fit on the other hand I have issues with, it is listed for a 18" wide board which is what I have. But the cover just barely goes over the edge on sides, causing metal frame to be exposed at times while ironing. I had also ordered a set of elastic bands at same time to attach to cover on sides at different intervals to pull sides together under board. The problem with that idea is the material is so short on sides that the clamps end up on top of board. If even a 1/2" of extra length was added to both sides I think it would improve the overall fit

Fit my wide ironing board perfectly. Good quality with enough padding that it will last a long time.

Very tight fit

Excellent value, fits my ironing board, even if a bit tight on the sides - I may add an elastic. Fabric is of excellent quality, glides easily.
