dustbuster 20V Hand Vacuum Cordless Rechargeable, Car Vacuum Portable, Powerful Suction AdvancedClean Hand Vac with Extendible Crevice Tool, Flip-Up Brush and Charging Base (BDH2000L)

Bought this to replace an older 16V model, which itself replaced the same model from a previous purchase. We love these little gizmos. Incredibly handy and versatile. It's easy to carry around, well balanced. My only complaint would be that it's a bit noisy, but I suspect that if it was quieter its performance wouldn't be nearly as good as it is. Our primary use is to tidy up around the kitty litter box. No matter what, their little paws always bring a little of the litter out onto the tile floor. This sucks it up with no difficulty at all. But we also use it all around the house for touch ups, for example in the kitchen around the edges of the floor and under the cabinets. Keeps things nice and tidy. Has plenty of battery life. We can do multiple jobs over multiple days (average time of use is perhaps about a minute total; moving from one area to another usually turn it off briefly until ready to clean). The charging unit makes it incredibly easy - just sit it down on the unit and a blue light shows it's charging. The light goes off when done. This 20V unit definitely does have more suction than our prior B&D 16V (they look alike, this one's gray/black, that one was a light blue). VERY easy to empty and clean. The fabric filter unit (though they sell replacements if you don't want to bother, but it's honestly so easy to do and, get this, I've never had to buy a replacement filter - they're incredibly durable - the unit's BATTERY (see below) has "died" before the filter fabric/material has worn out!) is easy to clean. Gently brush off the majority of the debris into a trash can, then a little dish soap and hot water cleans it up and we air dry it. There's a plastic "first stage filter" that washes quickly, and the body (dirt container) cleans quickly w/soap and water. A few hours drying and back in business again. The nozzle fits in plenty of tight spaces. This is our 3rd unit (each one seems to last about 2 years, which I don't think is terrible at this price point), so we're quite pleased with the product line for sure. It's the battery that seems to "go" on them. Though I'm not honestly sure how much of this may be "user defined" than the battery itself. I try to let the battery drain down before charging, my wife always puts it right back onto the charger. Theoretically being a lithium ion battery it shouldn't have a "memory," but I think that it should be used until nearly "out" then recharged. Regardless, with our pattern of use as noted we've had 3 of them (this being the 3rd, and it's only about 2 months old now as I write this), the prior two (again, 16V, different model) having each lasted about 2 years. BTW, the plastic filter cup and the dust container are exactly the same, even on this new model; I've simply saved those parts from the old machines in case I might need to replace, but have never had to! I paid full price for this item and I'm an average end-user customer. This is my honest and unbiased by any remuneration review.

I almost didn’t buy this vacuum because of the reviews stating that the battery didn’t last long and that the suction wasn’t strong. I had an older, cheaper model that I couldn’t even use to vacuum my stairs because the battery didn’t last that long and the suction was so bad. This bad boy lasts all day long and it has a lot of power! I’ve had it for over a month and it is still going strong. I have two small children who I’m cleaning up after all day and this battery lasts all day. I’m so glad I bought it!

Excellent hand vac! I did not expect this kind of good quality to be honest, as I was used to cheaper flimsy so-so-sucking hand vacs over the years. But this feels very well built, solid, feels good in the hand. And the suction is great. The extended flat nozzle is something you will find yourself using a lot and will be glad it is so easy to use, along with the convenient flip out brush which is awesome. Yes it costs a few bucks more than the cheapies but you know, sometimes you have to pay a little more for the difference between "Just OKAY, it works" and "WOW, this is FANTASTIC." And this is as good as a hand vac gets, well worth the cost.

Great handheld vacuum. Powerful moter and plenty of suction.

I rarely leave reviews, but I felt compelled to write one for this product because it has truly impressed me. From the moment it arrived, I could tell it was well-made and of high quality. The packaging was secure, and everything was neatly arranged, which was a great start. What really stood out to me was how easy it was to use. Whether you're familiar with products like this or it's your first time, you'll have no problem figuring it out. The setup was quick, and it worked exactly as described. I’ve been using it consistently since it arrived, and it hasn’t let me down once. The performance is outstanding. It delivers exactly what you need and more. One thing I particularly appreciate is how reliable and efficient it is. It has quickly become something I reach for regularly, and I can already tell it’s built to last. Durability is another major plus. It feels sturdy and well-constructed, so I have no concerns about it holding up over time. I’ve accidentally put it to the test a couple of times, and it has proven to be tough and long-lasting. For the price, I couldn’t ask for more. I’ve seen similar products that cost much more but don’t offer the same level of performance or reliability. This one strikes the perfect balance between affordability and quality. Customer service has also been top-notch. The company clearly stands behind their product and is available to answer any questions you might have. It’s always great to know there’s support available if you need it. In conclusion, I’m extremely happy with this purchase. It has exceeded my expectations in every way, and I can confidently recommend it to anyone. Whether you’re looking for something practical, reliable, or just a great value, this product is the perfect choice. I’m sure it will serve you well for a long time.

I love it! I had my previous hand held vac for 30 years & never thought I'd like another as much. I actually do like the cordless & rechargeable. It has very good suction and power. It's easy to use & easy to empty the dust bucket. I also like the size: big enough to do a good job & small enough to be easy to carry around. The charge lasts quite a long time and it charges pretty quickly. It's new, but it seems to be rugged, strong & sturdy. I had purchased this 1 or 2 times before, for my daughters or for my mother & they like theirs, so this time I bought it for myself!

Works great, but it’s SO loud that it hurts ,y ears! A very high pitched shrill sound!

I love this little vacuum. It is so strong and easily sits in its cradle for charging. Every part of the design is well thought out. I got it to replace an old Dustbuster that was the same strength, that lasted forever. I’ll never buy another hand-held vacuum made by another brand. These are hands-down the absolute best little work-horses!

Nice little vacuum but no British plug or adapter? For that it gets a 3* review and not a 4*. Supplier must do better. Clearly know I live in the UK from the delivery address.

There is no user information for buyers not using US standard electrical outlets

Muy buena aspiradora de mano, lo suficientemente potente para un uso general

Ok, I've only had the unit for a few days, but after a couple of uses, it's pretty good. Excellent suction and versatility. The unit is loud. Kind of reminds me of a B737 running up, but that just means it's a powerful unit. As for reliability, only time will tell. My last vacuum crapped out after 12 months, but it wasn't this one. So far, so good.

This is the best thing since sliced bread. Just grab it easily and quickly to pick up dog hair. Can leave it on the battery so that it is always ready for use. I was able to use it after two hours of charging, but a full charge is 4 hours. Easy to clean and looks good. I don't even care how long it lasts. Housework will be a whole new thing now.
