Cuprinol Garden Shades Wood Paint - Cornflower - 1L

I bought this paint to cover my summerhouse doors, leaving the rest of the summerhouse white to create a seaside feel, as it faces the sea. I was not disappointed. Although the tin is on the smaller side, the paint has a great consistency - not too thick and not too runny. It went on very smoothly and dried quickly, allowing me to apply a second coat while completing the job. My garden has trees and a grass lawn, and this Cornflower Blue is a beautiful shade that adds a lovely pop of colour. It isn't overpowering; instead, I find it calming and a perfect complement to the overall surroundings. Even after applying two coats to both doors, there is still plenty of paint left, so I'll be able to touch them up again when needed. I'm very pleased with the result.

Can’t fault Cuprinol garden paint, I’ve been using it for years. I love the choice of colours. The quality is always excellent. I bought this tub for one side of my shed (maybe two) and ended up giving the whole thing three coats. Each coat dried within an hour, but that was on a hot summers day. Usually in cooler weather I’d leave it for a couple of hours.

Covers well and great colour - shame its not cheaper!

As you can see it's a working project and no where near finished! But this colour "cornflower blue" is amazing the pictures don't give it enough credit to just how vibrant and bright it truly is!! I love it! As you can see it's still drying off so does look patchy in places. This is only one coat used and tbh I think its incredible especiallythe coverage its given! I did one fence panel last year during the first lockdown during the summer (2020) and then couldn't get a hold of any curpinol cornflower blue at all until I found a local place that mixers up any brand of paint with their incredible paint mixing machine! But absolutely no fade at all! It Does work out to be extremely pricey as it only comes in 1litre tins off here or other DIY retailers, but I did find a place that mixes it up in 2.5 litres tins for £26.99 ( Masseys & Son LTD in Swadlincote Tamworth) generally in love with this colour!! Loveeee it!!
