Avid Elixir Hydraulic Hose Line Kit for Elixir 5, R, CR, XO, CR Mag (Black), 2000mm

Avid makes good stuff. Easy to install, and no issues with performance. Holds the pressure and I brakes are just as stiff as the first day.

I have invented an ABS for bicycles with hydraulic brakes and this hose and fitting works perfectly with no leaks.

Kit came w/ everything and some spares. Just what my application needed

Worked great. Plenty long enough for my XL 29er full suspension. I removed about 7" of excess hose, installed the hose support insert, ferrule and other pieces and tightened. My only complaint is that no instructions came with this. It would not have been difficult to include a single page. I downloaded from the Avid website. Also, the torque called out was not enough to compress the aluminum ferrule, and I had to exceed the torque by several foot pounds. This made me nervous, but the ferrule finally closed up and sealed off the hose without stripping out the threads on the brake hose or in my Elixir brake lever body.

Très bon produit, montage aisé, gaine pas trop rigide. Toutes les pièces sont fournies. Je ne regrette absolument pas mon achat.

Original hydraulic hose from avid...does the job as required. The swaged end is a pretty crap idea, the only reason I had to buy this was because it corroded and broke off, if they used the compression fitting like on the front brake A) I could just shorten the cable a tad and refit and B) it probably wouldn't of broken in the first place

La guaina originale sram ha sostituito perfettamente quella del mio elixir 5. Per eseguire il montaggio come indicato da sram serve anche il grasso Dot 5.1 sempre Sram

Ich habe es gekauft, da in meinem sich ein Loch aufgetan hat. Da ist alles dabei, die Olive usw. Die Leitung lässt sich mit einer normalen Zange problemlos kürzen.
