Includes 1 trap, 1 dual lure, and 2 collection bags. It attracts Japanese Beetles into a collection bag that traps them securely. It uses a dual floral & pheromone lure to attract the Japanese Beetles. Review: Great trap - This trap works great! My neighbors have a different brand but the beetles can get out where this bag that small opening makes it tricky! I have already replaced my bag and with in a day there was a inch of beetles. They are terrible around here. I even go around and get them off plants but since using this trap I've noticed less on my plants and trees. Review: Buy! You won’t be sorry! - Amazing! 10 stars! It traps beetles within just a few minutes of hanging it out properly. The pheromones are odorous—that’s the magic. The rubber open capsule must contain some sort of something that works with the pheromone cake—leave it & just trust it & hang at the proper height. Follow the instructions by not peeling the foil 100%. You’ll have an extremely high kill rate for only $10 (it’s an excellent value) and your flowers will fare 90% better than without this trap. I’d like to embrace the inventor. I have gently emptied the bag (of live & dead beetles) at a rate of every several days, rinsed & re-hung it (not in the instructions though) with loads of continued success through rain, wind & sun. Live beetles trapped—I emptied by placing the mouth of the bag over a jar of water that has a few drops of dish soap—this breaks the surface tension. The remaining live beetles die by drowning. ## Features - DUAL LURE SYSTEM - Beetle Bagger employs a dual action floral/pheromone lure system. This is what ensures our traps are irresistible to the insect. - HOURGLASS SHAPE - The hourglass-shaped disposable collection bags ensure that the beetles have been securely trapped. Once the bug is in the trap, it's not escaping. - COMPLETE TRAP KIT - Each kit contains 1 trap, 1 dual-lure, and 2 collection bags. - LONG LASTING - One Japanese Beetle Trap lasts all season and can protect over 5000 square feet during an infestation period. - REPLACEMENTS AVAILABLE - Once you've found the perfect collection locations, don't worry about having to replace the whole trap. We offer replacements for both our dual-lures and collection bags. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000HCNSZA | | Best Sellers Rank | #101,368 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ( See Top 100 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ) #1,730 in Pest Control Traps | | Brand | Bonide | | Brand Name | Bonide | | Color | Green | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 1,228 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00037321001973 | | Included Components | insect-traps | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 8.5"L x 1.5"W x 6.5"H | | Item Type Name | insect-traps | | Item Weight | 3.84 ounces | | Manufacturer | BFG Supply | | Manufacturer Part Number | FBA_197 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | Warranty | | Material | Plastic | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Number | 197 | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Power Source | Corded Electric | | Product Dimensions | 8.5"L x 1.5"W x 6.5"H | | Style | Trap | | Style Name | Trap | | Target Species | Dog | | UPC | 617407747164 037321001973 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Bonide - **Color:** Green - **Item Weight:** 3.84 ounces - **Material:** Plastic - **Number of Pieces:** 1 - **Product Dimensions:** 8.5"L x 1.5"W x 6.5"H - **Style:** Trap - **Target Species:** Beetle - **UPC:** 617407747164 037321001973 - **Unit Count:** 1 Count ## Images ![Bonide Beetle Bagger Japanese Beetle Trap Kit for Indoors and Outdoors, 2 Disposable Collection Bags Included - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/616PbdICEtL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: I have the same question, there was the bait and in the bait holder a small rubber nozzle, but nothing in the directions say what to do with it.** A: Just remove the protecting film and mount the whole thing (the bait and the hose) in the slot as shown on the box. **Q: What is the little rubber nozzle thing next to the lures? I'd love to see a close up pic of installing the lures (to be sure I did it right). And how long does it take for the beetles to find the trap?** A: The Japanese Beetles usually find the trap very quickly. The yellow vanes assemble into an X-shape. The bag is attached to the yellow vanes. The lure also attaches to the vanes. Very simple construction. The instructions are clear. Rubber Nozzle--I haven't a clue as to what you are talking about. **Q: When I removed the foil cover from the lure, the plastic over the felt discs came with it. Were they supposed to remain behind the plastic shield?** A: Only the foil should come off. The felt discs should remain attached inside the plastic "dish." Then, the edges of the plastic "dish" fit into the matching grooves on the large yellow hanger. The felt should face inward. The Beetles, by the way, never end up on the felt lure because they are such lousy flyers. They fall down the yellow flutes and then into the green bag. Hope this is clear. **Q: Do you sell extra bags and Attractants?** A: Yes ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great trap *by A***R on July 31, 2026* This trap works great!
