If you value your equipment and signal quality, avoid these adapters.
I ordered four of these adapters, three of which went bad within a half dozen plug/unplug cycles. The ground connection failed on all. In two out of four of them, the RCA jack stayed attached, but continuity was not present between the RCA outer terminal and TRS sleeve. In the third, the RCA jack fell off in my hands. They aren't even soldered. They are just pressure fitted or something.This was just a test order, as I needed a couple dozen of these adapters. Glad I didn't order a large number to start with. I ended up buying 24 solidly built metal adapters from another vendor. Unsurprisingly, all 24 worked.If you do buy these, take care to make sure the gain on your amps and channels are all the way down before you test these things. I almost blew my speakers. Had two of these on unbal inputs, and two more on unbal outputs of my Mackie mixer, ran into a 1,200 watt amp. Powered everything up, and was greeted with screaming 60 cycle hum on one channel. Thought my mixer or amp went suddenly bad. After a couple mins of diagnosis, that's when I realized the adapters fell apart.I would not recommend these adapters to anyone who needs a reliable connection that lasts more than a few connection cycles.

Warning: High defective rate encountered!...
Warning: High defective rate encountered upon usage!... Purchased two packs [ 4 adaptors ] , and three out of four had an open ground. That is, no continuity at all on the ground side... Zero... That is 75% failure rate!... Must be a bad run of these items. I would not purchase until company corrects this problem... Note: Adaptors were checked with an electronic meter, and I am pro sound engineer...

Poor quality control
Two of the four 1/4" adapters I ordered had no conductivity from one end to the other with respect to ground (shield).
