I've always had 4ohm speakers, I guess I got used to the beat being where it is supposed to be, perhaps at the expense of volume. Fast forward 15 years and I was talked into this 2ohm speaker. Because "300 watts will sound like 600 watts." O.k....... but no one told me every hard hit would sound like a fart....I guess it makes good low bass, like what we used to call the "frog sound." wamp wamp. But some songs have a precise hit, and this can't do it. I know I'm being picky, and I'm not about to return it, but next time I'm going with 4ohms and spend $100 extra for a better amp....

Man I have to say I was kinda iffy at first when I was thinking about buying so then I did, I installed it and wrote have to say bang for the buck, sounds great in my hardbody

Nice & clean sounding shallow mount sub. I have one of these bad boys underneath the back seat of my Nissan Titan. Powerd by an Alpine mrv m500. Try to keep it Alpine on Alpine on Alpine for best results. Highly recommend this sub for tight spaces.

Alpine nails it once again! This sub works in sealed boxes from .35 - .80 cu ft. I've installed a few different shallow mount subs and this one will be my go sub in limited space/room applications. Its available in single 4 ohm and single 2 ohm applications.

Great for small spaces. It fits under the seat in my F-150, and sounds great.

Took a risk on this subwoofer without reading any of the reviews and love it fits in about any shallow mount box and for a little 10" sub puts out great bass with a crisp sound couldn't ask for anything better for the money
