Can this sensor/switch be used closer to the shower in a 3-way switch type fashion? (2 switches for fan)** A: How far is too far? My switch is between 6 and 8 feet from the shower and it works fine.. You just might have to play with the sensitivity to get it to come on when desired. Ad far as a 3-way application, I don't think it will work. Three way switches have an additional screw for the runner between switches that this switch does not have. **Q: What is the difference between the fs-300-w1 (amazon) and the hs-c00-w7 (big box store)?** A: The same except the HS-C00-W7 has QUE technology.
