Why would a bunch of baby locks on the outside of furniture and doors look good? These are great for what they are but once on forget about trying to move one. I stupidly put one on in the wrong place of a cabinet and still was able to get the drawer open, but that was user error. Anyway, I couldn't easily get the thing off even with the very "easy to remove" video LOL with dental floss that I almost ripped my fingers off. Then I sat there with GOO Gone for 20 minutes trying to get the 3M residue off my dining room buffet server white cabinet. It finally came off but there is no way in hell that you can get off the locks with ease like that ridiculous video. I bet I'll be scrubbing every cabinet and drawer with GooGone when we don't need these locks anymore. Fun times!All the other places I put the locks work great---except the oven which worked to keep it closed/locked yes-- but when I used the oven to cook, I accidentally closed to door on the lock and--duh it melted. SO yea---be careful when you open and close your oven door when you cook and make sure the lock isn't swinging into the oven when you close the oven door. I'll be ordering more and thinking a little longer before I put the new lock on the oven this time.

When I first got the box and looked at it I thought it was just a cheap product and it wasn’t gonna work but it’s actually very convenient and keeps my two year old out of my cabinets I’d buy it again

These are very good in theory, but they did not stick well to any of my surfaces. I tried everything! Blow drying, clamping, loose application, others. They just fall right off a few hours later. I need new locks, because my daughter is autistic and I have to secure everything. She figured the old baby ones out, so I was replacing them all. The wild part is customer service contacted me, and I explained what happened. They offered me a refund after I told them I would just drill these in where possible instead of returning them. Then they suddenly ended contact and didn't give a refund. I'll just steer clear of these and similiar in the future, for several reasons!Update: CS got in touch with me and said they issued a refund. Perhaps I got a bad batch. I totally hate that, but CS certainly made it better. And these drill/screw in pretty firm. Now I hope my daughter won't figure these out for a while!

I bought these because my 18-month old is becoming a real explorer and I didn't need him exploring what was in the oven. The straps were thicker and longer than I expected, which really impressed me with how strong the straps were. I pulled on the oven door handle rather strongly after I installed it, and the door wouldn't open. I'm confident that my son won't be able to open the door until he figures out how to open the latch.The only word of advice I will give to buyers is to make sure you are aware of which way the strap will release. I had to throw out my first strap because I didn't install in the optimal manner. (I know the adhesive works really well, because I was not able to salvage it when I removed the pads) The strap was flapping back into the open oven door, which just isn't ideal if you're opening and closing frequently. I looked at the suggested installation method, straight up and down, and made sure the strap was attached to the door and well out of the way when open.Great item and even better value!

We use these in our kitchen, bathroom and on our son's dresser. So far it has stuck very well. It's been on our kitchen cabinets for about 8 months with daily use. The only one it hasn't stuck on is a heavy drawer that slides open by itself, so I'm not surprised the strap couldn't hold it shut.My almost-2 year old still hasn't figures out how to open the straps but does know how to close them and often goes around behind us to make sure they get latched properly.

I liked this product a lot. Go straight for the 8 pack or more cause I could have saved more money since I kept on buying 4 packs…I didn’t expect to use them so much.

Ease of use to lock and secure drawers to stop them from flying open in a camper

These are good and definitely stop baby getting into cupboards and drawers. However they’re quite fiddly to open and often difficult with one hand if not your favoured side. Therefore I wouldn’t put them on something you access multiple times a day.

Easy to install and open for an adult. So far, keeps my little explorer out of the drawers and cupboard. Would figure it out at some point but good enough for now. Only hoping the adhesive doesn't damage the surface when we want to remove it later. Good stuff overall, would recommend.

Nice little gadget easy to fit

These are great for cupboards that are on the end of the row so you can put one piece at 90degrees to the other, much easier to install compared to traditional child licks that go inside the cupboard. Not so good for middle cupboards as they can still open slightly.
