Great taste, great value - still a great choice and easy to make and enjoy!
One of my late son's greatest pleasures was a giant, overfilled hamburger bun with ground angus and manwich. I make it in his honor to this day, and it's still one of life's simple pleasures - a great, basic sloppy joe.

Just the right balance for me of spices and tangyness without being overwhelming.
I love sloppy joes, it may be a baby boomer thing, but I grew up with them and I like it. Manwich has made variants on this but this is the best. They make a bold version that overwhelms me, and they make a chunky version that has too much tang to it. The original is best. I recommend you brown a pound of 80/20 ground beef or chuck nothing leaner nor with more fat. I then fill the pan with hot water to pour off the fat, and strain the beef. Prior to cooking the beef I chop a yellow or red union finely, and caramelize it with a little high grade butter. I add that to the cooked strained ground beef and a little salt and pepper, then stir in the Manwich. I reduce heat and reduce the liquid so it's a little less sloppy, and apply scoops to toasted hamburger buns. It can be had with our without cheese, if you don't have a family and live as a single, when I get tired of eating the leftover as sandwiches, I use to top hot dogs. It goes well here with cheese, and you can mix a little chili with the beef. This only works because the original is less tangy, if you try it with the other flavors, it's just not as good. Recommended.

Quick and tasty, but a bit sweet for my taste
I tried this sloppy joe mix for a quick weeknight dinner, and overall it was a good experience. It’s very convenient—just add it to cooked ground beef and you have a meal ready in minutes. The flavor is rich and tangy, and it pairs well with soft buns. My family enjoyed it, especially how easy it was to prepare. However, I did find it a bit sweeter than I expected, so I added a little extra seasoning to balance it out. The sodium level also seems a bit high. Still, it’s a solid option when you need something fast and satisfying.

Very good with some tweaks
I used to make my hamburger bbq from scratch but with the price of ketchup, I started using Manwich. I only use half a can plus a little water and freeze the other half for next time. I find its more economical this way and we never know the difference once it cooks down a bit. I add chopped onion and green pepper when the meat is cooking. I drain the grease and I whiz the meat mixture for 2-3 pulses in my food processor to give it a finer consistency then put back in the pan and add the Manwich sauce. Its delicious for canned with these small changes.

Great quality taste
Taste is great. It came undamaged. Great great quick cheap and easy meal to make with ground beef One can is enough for a few meals As you're mixing it with ground beef and buns/rolls if you are making it the original way.
