McCormick Salad Toppins Crunchy & Flavorful, 3.75 oz

I adore this tasty/salty/crunchy salad topper. It includes seeds mixed with soy- and rice-based crunchies, including imitation bacon bits, and their sweet-savory flavor reminds me of smoked paprika. That yummy umami taste comes from mixing salt and sugar with flavor enhancers, see ingredients list. It is a highly processed food, let’s be honest. But look on the bright side: a small spoonful of this tasty stuff can entice me to prepare and enjoy a big serving of salad. I like it on chopped romaine with a dressing of olive oil and fresh lemon juice, chopped sweet red and yellow peppers, and fresh avocado. These crunchies also make a nice topper for creamy carrot soup. The salad topper is inexpensive, shelf stable, tastes great, and that yummy crunch helps me enjoy more super-healthy veggies at both lunch and dinner. So I will be enjoying these regularly. Love them, five stars!

I used to just buy the bacon bits for my salads, I need the extra crunch! But these are even better, great way to elevate a boring salad or an outstanding one!!

tasty and nice texture to add to a salad.... Have also used it on open-faced sandwiches: the kids like it on grilled cheese as they watch me add it to the bubbling cheese and the contrast is vivid! (I make Smiley faces sometimes.) Wish price were a bit lower but repurchase from time-to-time.

We seldom have tossed salad without McCormick Salad Toppins. I'm not sure it adds a lot of taste, but at the very least it makes the salad a bit more special and visually appealing. It's a little like sprinkling cinnamon on applesauce. But despite the shrinking size and increasing price, like nearly everything we buy, we keep on buying Toppins. Cheaper at Amazon than in the grocery store. Recommended.
