Fortivo White Vinyl and Leather Repair Kit

I was able to fix several things and still have plenty of repair liquid left. A little goes a long way. Two weeks ago I repaired the leather finish on a shoe, a bar stool, cracks on the arm rests on an expensive desk chair and deep rub marks on a seam edge on a couch. So far I have no issues with the repairs peeling for rubbing off from use. Another little project I used this product for was to smooth out a rough spot caused by edge stitching inside of one of my elderly mother's shoes. Her feet are very sensitive and she found she could not wear her new sandals. I applied the repair liquid over the area and it filled in the valleys between stitches perfectly making a smooth surface. My mom is very happy.

I bought this to repair an office chair I was given which had some pin holes, some cracks, and some tear outs... I thought a real repair kit would yield better results for my purposes and bought this kit. This kit is easy to use. I used it to fill the holes and cracks and found that before it dried it left a sort of "this is a frosted cake" appearance. There's no texturizing paper/stamp thing with this... so what I did was let it dry for a few minutes and then dabbed at it with a wet sponge to add a quasi leather ish texture to it. After this it was still wet enough that it self flattens over time with just a little bit of texture which looks enough like leather from 5 feet away. The bottle in this kit didn't last as long as I thought it would but I managed to fill the majority of problem areas enough. Rather than buy this kit again, I just bought a large container of Angelus white leather paint. Based on the smell... I think the two are at least chemically related, with angelus being a thinner version of what's in this kit. I coated the entire chair in Angelus and it yielded a more pleasant look than this kit so, at the very least, you should repaint your entire surface with leather paint... but after looking up tutorials, people do with Angelus paint what this kit seems intended for... and it's way cheaper for a LOT more of it. Maybe if you need to properly fully patch gaping holes this kit is worth it since it's thicker than paint... but honestly, the price feels overly high for what you get.

I used this to restore a leather pair of Jordans that had a small hole in the toe box. I applied it, let it dry then repainted the shoe and it looks as good as new. Very please with the results and I will be using it again in the future.

This is a nice quality product and was very simple to use. I used it to repair a few small tears on the seats of my boat and the results are very good. The last time I had areas repaired by a company and I have to say your product had better results. I would definitely recommend your products.

Product may be ok for a very small tear. Any hole or tear larger than 1/4 inch the product is useless. I did watch the videos before I started the repair and followed the instructions. I’m going to remove what I did and try an other repair product. Waste of money.

THEN IT'S FOLLOWED WITH ' '" BUY A SECOND ONE NOW FOR JUST A DOLLAR MORE. " WELL IT'S ONLY BEEN A WEEK - MAYBE IT WILL FAIL LONG TERM - BUT SO FAR I MAY HAVE FOUND THE ONLY MIRACLE THAT IS UNDER $20. I SAY ' MAY' SINCE I RATHER SEE WHAT HAPPENS IN A YEAR. LET'S SAY IT DOES FAIL LATER ON ? I MEAN UNDER $20 FIX TO MULTIPLE CAT PUNCTURES IN MY NEW LEATHER CHAIRS? I STILL DON'T BELIEVE WHAT I'M LOOKING AT BUT IF IT ALL COMES UNDONE - IT WILL BE EASY ENOUGH TO REDO. YES, TRY IT. KEEP IN MIND I JUST BOUGHT WHITE FOR WHITE LEATHER. I used this on 2 bar stools/high back chairs. I had a bad nick/on the top edge of one of them. I did a 2 day process to repair by putting a good amount on of the product on it. I also decided to apply it on the seams to prevent damage or opening as the time goes on. I highly recommend this product! Very easy to use.

Product fills in ok but it does crack at the edges. Good for a temporary repair but is visible.
