I am a longtime seasoned photographer, but have just recently got into studio work, so I can't tell you how this backdrop compares to other products. What I can tell you is that it seems to be well-made and it performs as I would expect. There were a lot of wrinkles, but I would suspect that is normal for any cloth backdrop. Regardless, the wrinkles are easily removed with a cheap portable steamer, or (even easier) a little "photoshopping". You will see light through the fabric if you set it up in front of a window or other bright light, but again, I would expect that is normal for muslin and not an issue if you set up your back-lighting properly. Not much else to say other than it does what it is supposed to do. Now, time to buy a grey backdrop...

Worked as good as can be expected, a better value than vinyl but it does have drawbacks. Wrinkles are hard to get out, it gets dirty fairly easily, and is pretty thin. Mine didn't come with the "protector" that is supposed to go behind it, I'm guessing that is probably to thicken it up some where it would be more likely to show, but I didn't have any issues without it. Not sure what good the carrying case is, if you fold the thing up it's going to come out perma-wrinkled.

Its a big huge white backdrop. Depending on how you pack this, actually probably almost no matter how you pack it unless you roll it, and probably even then, it will have wrinkles when you hang it. You can get these out to some effect with a steamer. What you're buying is a huge, cheap white fabric backdrop. If you can keep it constantly hanging you can probably de-wrinkle it somewhat and it won't be much of a problem. If you want something portable that you can pop up quickly with no wrinkles this probably wont be ideal. Edit: I've decided to upgrade my review from 3 stars to 4 stars as a result of the companies quick response to my review. I consider good customer support to be a significant factor in any major purchase, and while you may not need it most times, that one time you do it can be very frustrating to get poor service. I'm still reserving a full 5 stars because wrinkles are still a bit of a problem with it but for the price this is still a very good buy. Particularly if you're setup allows you to mitigate wrinkles through either lighting and or depth of field

This is the 3rd backdrop of this brand I bought (with Amazon). This one is larger than the two others. Pure white, 100% cotton. You will have to steam it (or spraying water) rather than iron it because of its size. This backdrop do the job perfectly, point a strobe and you will have luminous white for your studio photos. Use colors gels and you will have a different backdrop. I had to contact the seller and I must admit he really takes care of its clients, so feel confident to buy this product with security. To resume, this backdrop have a good ratio quality/price. I'm a professional photographer I use it in my studio.

It's amazing that you can get a piece of fabric this size for this price . I'm old school, (I've been a photographer since the 80s, lol) and I remember buying white backdrops for $100-$200 . I've owned 4 white cotton backdrops, and I always de-wrinkle the same way . I hang the backdrop, spray it with warm water, smooth it with my hands, and put a fan on it. I have ironed some in the past, but it doesn't work out as good . Great product at a great price!!!!!!!

This backdrop seems to be made fairly well with good stitching. It's thin so be prepared to back it up if you have bright objects behind it. The storage bags (I ordered the black one too) are extremely cheap and won't last long. The black backdrop actually was in a bag that had the front completely ripped out. I presume this happened when it was packed in the box by the manufacturer. After contacting Amazon customer service, I agreed to keep the backdrop and they are crediting me $10. I just need to find a couple of better storage bags. I'm satisfied with the purchase and how Amazon handle the issue with the bag. Quick and easy.

I had to shoot a series of headshots and needed a good white backdrop. This delivered. It was big with a nice clean white. Since it is cloth, plan on using a steamer to handle the wrinkles. It is just the price you pay for a cloth backdrop. That being said it folded up like a bedsheet for storage. A good value.

Update: I have been issued a replacement and everything is all good now! Let's be clear, I had no problem getting the wrinkles out with a steamer. The issue I have is with quality control, along one of the folds is an area where the fabric is thick (1"), followed by an area that is thin (.5"), this cannot be removed it doesn't matter how many times you steam and iron it (which I've done a lot).

Un fondo muy aconsejable para montar un estudio casero al que cualquier aficionado a la fotografía le puede sacar mucho provecho. Además de un servicio postventa de 6 estrellas que resuelve cualquier inconveniente que pueda surgir. Y por cierto, está garantizado de por vida. ¿Qué más se puede pedir?

Es bueno en cuanto a las medidas y acabado, pero excesivamente transparente. Será cuestión de volver a pintar la habitación de color blanco. He quedado completamente satisfecho por la solución que le han dado al problema de la gtransparencia al mandarme un segundo fondo (sin cargo) para solucionar el problema. Quedo enteramente satisfecho de la solución y sobretodo del servicio que me ha dado Amazon.
