Smatree G160 Carrying Case for GoPro Hero 6/5/4/3+/3/2/1 - Camera and Accessories NOT included

Even though I really love my little GoPro camera and appreciate having it with me, I have not had anywhere to store the the camera and all the various mounts and other toys that go along with it. In fact, I was using a big ZipLoc bag to put everything in just to keep everything in one place. So, after looking around at various options, I tried this case out. It is terrific. 1. What's in the box:? You receive the nice sized bag, which is about the size of a large, dense paperback book, and within it, many cut-outs of the foam protection inside. 2. Aesthetic?: This is a nice looking case. The texture on the case is really a nice feature, plus the red trim makes this feel and look like an expensive piece of equipment. And why not? If you are like me, the GoPro is going out on many adventures in places where the camera needs protection when not in use. 3. Use?: The bag feels like it is well-made, especially for the money paid. The foam inserts can be manipulated by the user to adjust for the various things you may have like extra mounts, for example. Also, this allows for storage of the various versions of the GoPro. The great feature is the zippered pocket on the top flap. Here I store things like extra memory cards and adapters (for those micro SD cards), booklets, extra mounts and covers and whatever else I might lose or need during a trip with the camera. Overall?: This is a very nice thing to have for a GoPro owner. For the money being spent, it is really a necessity to keep everything neatly organized. The only quibble I would have is the attached strap holder is probably not something I would depend on with a fully loaded bag, and the small carabiner is nice, but not a depend on your life kind of item. Otherwise, I have no complaints at all about this product.

This is the perfect size to hold 2 GoPros and a variety of batteries and accessories. In mine, I have the following: -Two GoPros, J-hook mounts, their housings and two additional dive back doors -4 batteries, Smatree dual battery charger -Quick Clip, flat and curved sticky mounts -GoPro remote and charge cable -L-bracket, tripod mount, flat mount As you can see, everything fits very well. The case is very sturdy and the foam is very high quality. I found the included carabiner useful for hiking and for attaching to the outside of travel bags. The case is also easily configurable. For example: -Pulling out a piece of foam allows you to swap between perfect fitment for dive and standard housings -instead of two batteries (or where I put the back doors), you can drop in the LCD or battery backpacks -Instead of a second GoPro, you can keep just the housing, a floaty backdoor, or even a mini-selfie stick Technically, if I were OK with moving some stuff out and around, I can even fit the official GoPro suction cup mount. Basically, how you use the space is up to your imagination, but this is a very versatile case with lots of room. If you want a step up, you're probably going to have to bring an entire toolbox of GoPro accessories- for myself, this is perfect for holding the essentials. Very well priced, and very good quality.

I love this case! It carries just about what I need for filming for moto, bmx, skateboarding, or just filming! The size can fit whatever I need without overpacking! It is very durable and reliable, I took my gopro on a 11 day time lapse trip in a different state and the case held up on the plane and getting knocked around in my backpack. Now for the few bad things: the case is a small case so don't expect to fit a chesty or a suction cup in there, you can use the carabiner on the outside of the case to clip onto the bags of bigger stuff. And I have a hero3+ and it comes with a piece of foam that you can take out if you have a hero3 but keep it in for a 3+ for a snug fit, the problem with that is that the piece comes out and can kind of be annoying sometimes, but there is an easy fix, I taped it but I highly recommend using Velcro so it can come off (on the inside so you don't scratch your gopro!)

This is a great little case for the price! I have a GoPro 3+ Black and It can fit quite a bit. I currently have all the hardware the GoPro came with along with a remote and an extra battery. The cables and card adapter fit well in the pocket on the top. I only wish the foam would be attached to the bottom of the case as it has come out a couple times when I didn't intend for it to. However this isn't a big issue and is something I can do myself. It's probably better for them to leave it as it is to reduce cost and allow more options for the user. The foam is a little softer and not as dense as it could be but also not a big issue. The case looks sharp and seems to be built well. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a nice small GoPro carrying case.

This case does exactly what I need it to. I have a HERO2 and a HERO3 and have one of these cases for each of them. Both cameras fit very well but the foam is more designed to the HERO3. The foam is incredibly secure and I know that my cameras and accessories are safe inside. The zippered pouch is amazing for keeping small cables or cards in and KNOWING that they will remain secure and not fall out. Some people mention that the case does not provide enough room for many accessories and while this may be true, this isn't a problem I have. With nearly the default accessories including head strap, multiple hinges, remote, and adhesive mounts, they all fit with a bit of room for extras. So, if you have standard accessories and a few clip options, this case is your best option IMO. Especially at the discounted price <$30 this is a GREAT deal and a smart investment for the camera.

Smatree Case G160 arrived with a carry hook that had a broken spring and could not be closed. The zipper was also defective. Overall, the case would have been nice if they did not ship a defective one with a defective carry hook and zipper. There was also a problem with the Smatree triple charger and two battery bundle. They batteries are slightly warped / bowed and will not fit in the charger properly or camera. If you place the battery in the charger the light turns red when you press the battery in. The battery then pops out and the light of course goes back to green. Both batteries have the same problem regardless of the slot they are inserted. The original OEM gopro battery fits in the charger fine and charges ok with the charger, so the batteries are the issue. Included with the item was a very nice "review invitation" stating if there is any concern to please email them and they strive for 100% customer satisfaction. This is NOT the case. I never wrote an email for the case because I had already sent an email stating the problem with the defective batteries and requested they send out replacement batteries. It has been 5 days and they never even replied to my email.

I looked at and read reviews on several GoPro cases before choosing this one. Two main reasons I made this choice was that (1) the description made it clear that the foam dunnage was made to accommodate the Hero 3+, which I have and (2) the lid compartment (which most all of the GoPro cases have) is in this case zippered. If you like what is stated in the description and like what the case looks like in the photos, then you will be happy with this case. It is true to the description and photos. I have my Hero 3+ with quick release buckle attached, two spare batteries and their charger (Wasabi Power), the Wi-Fi Remote, an X-Lapse "egg timer" pano gadget with the iPhone holder that came with it and the memory card adapter all in the main compartment. Cables in the lid compartment. There's no way I wanted a case big enough to carry all the mounts, etc that I will probably collect over time, so I'm also happy with the size. I wasn't looking for the absolute minimum size case either. This one holds all of the essentials and is very portable. Good protection all around and recommended.

This case is perfect for the GoPro Product. It is small and effective which helps with portability. The inside of the case affords plenty of space to store all the necessities of your GoPro. I do not currently own many accessories for my GoPro in the way of harnesses ie. Head gear, chest gear, extension arm. It would seam very difficult to be able to utilize this case for those type of items. However, I would prefer to keep those items in a seperate carrying system as not to risk damaging the camera itself. This product does have ample room though for the protective equipment as well as the camera itself. The foam is durable and precut which allows for a secure fit. Additionally the outside is well made and very fashionable.
