This Black & Decker pivot handheld vacuum is a powerhouse. Great for picking up pets hair. I have two very large huskies and I have hard floors throughout my house. If you have pets you will understand what I'm saying when I say that the hair collects in the corners & behind doors, along the walls and behind bookshelves -in all those places that are hard to get to- no worries though! this hand held vacuum is the most powerful that I've tried so far for its type. it picks up those debris quickly and easily. it does have a couple of quirks. As some of the reviews have mentioned, the hinge broke on the door. Apparently this is a weak spot or design flaw that I hope Black & Decker can redesign for future models. I was able to put it back together but I am glad to know that I can call Black Decker and they may replace it for me. Thank you to that reviewer that gave us that information! I appreciate that info so much! I've used my vacuum for about six months. I love it so much that I am going to buy one that's similar from Black & Decker I'm going to buy the one with the hose because it looks like the exact same kind but canister style with a hose. it might be easier to get behind certain places. I am happy and impressed with Black Decker's hand held vacuum. I would highly recommend it for anyone that wants to get the job done and done well/ #1 in its class by my estimation. One last thing that is a bit of a drawback -when I bought generic filters that looked exactly the same, the generic filters do not fit well into the unit so that you cannot close it properly. I spent 20 minutes wrestling with it and just concluded that I would try and save you that same pain and let you know to buy the Black & Decker brand filters - that they will fit properly and you will save yourself a lot of of grief. I'd like to end this review with some positives - the vacuum is powerful - has great battery life - it is attractive and it fit well on its charging cradle - it will charge pretty fast - it opens and comes apart easily to be able to clean & although I want you to get the black & Decker filters they are reasonably priced and work extremely well. Finally a hand vac that actually works! This thing is powerful! Warning though, it's quite loud. And it is true, the battery doesn't last long with continuous usage - cleaning a car, say. But I'll take those imperfections for the suction power. Love it.

I’ve had this hand vacuum for over three years and use it literally every single day—and that’s not an exaggeration. As a mom with toddlers, this thing is a total non-negotiable. I’m constantly cleaning up crumbs, snack explosions, dirt, and all kinds of random messes, and I easily reach for it 10+ times a day. I actually own two—one for the house and one for the car—and I genuinely can’t imagine my routine without it. The suction is incredibly strong for a cordless handheld. It has no problem picking up everything from Cheerios and Goldfish to sand, dirt, and whatever else my kids manage to spill. I use it on the playpen, high chairs, couches, car seats, and especially my jogging stroller after snack time chaos. It feels sturdy and well built, not flimsy at all, and the pivoting nozzle plus built-in attachments make it easy to get into tight spaces. It’s lightweight, easy to maneuver, simple to empty, and the washable filter holds up really well to constant daily use. After three years, it still performs just as well as when I first got it, which honestly says everything about the quality. I actually tried replacing this with a newer, more sleek handheld vacuum that was more popular, but ended up returning it and buying another one of these instead. While the newer one looked nicer and was more compact, the suction just didn’t compare. This one is noticeably stronger and does a much better job picking up small crumbs, dirt, and everyday messes—which matters more to me than how it looks. The only thing to keep in mind is that you do have to empty it often with frequent use, but that’s expected with a compact handheld. Best for: parents, cars, quick cleanups, and everyday messes Not ideal if: you need something for large, deep-cleaning jobs If you’re deciding between this and other handheld vacuums, this one stands out because it actually holds up long-term with heavy daily use—not just occasional cleaning. If this stopped working today, I would buy another one the same day—that’s how much I rely on it. Hands down one of the most used products in my house.

Okay, I read the other reviews and, yes, this is a little heavy and pretty loud. But it does the job. I am wondering about holding the charge. Maybe because I have been using in short bursts rather than a thorough vacuuming, I am charging it more than expected. I really like the extending head. I would buy again or give as gift,

This is a game changer! I came across this while looking for a portable vacuum for my car and after ordering 2 from other places online that I was disappointed in because of the lack of suction power, poor battery life - I came across positive reviews for this and decided to try it out --- and I could not be happier! The battery life is great, it is portable and the perfect size to keep in my kitchen , where I have found I need it the most! It is my go-to every day item I use within my home, whether it is to clean up crumbs from cooking on the floor or the dirt my little ones brought into the house, this can do everything a full size vacuum can do - but without having to go through the hassle of getting it out of the closet, plugging it in and the things I usually don't want to deal with in the moment of real life happening. The assembly is easy (I believe anyone and everyone could do it). And the fact that it is cordless, I am able to use it in my home and in my car because the suction power and amount of dust collection is amazing. Forget what anyone else has told you , if you are looking for a powerful vacuum that is cordless and will have the battery life to get the job finished, this is the thing you must have. I also love that it has a little extension piece for hard to reach areas as well as a fold out tip with soft bristles - so I can use it on my wooden table to help clean up any mess from dinner in an instant!

Update 2/26/20 This update is long overdue. I’ve bought this vacuum 3 times. The 1st vacuum I actually bought was in December 2018. That started to malfunction after about a year – it made this extremely loud noise and would shut off after 2 minutes or less even though it was charged up. At the time, I did not seek the warranty – maybe I was lazy LOL. So I bought a 2nd vacuum in January 2019 and as of this writing is still working well. Because I loved this vacuum I recommended it for work and bought a 3rd vacuum on February 2019. #2 gets used everyday at home. #3 probably not too much. Fast forward to the present and I wanted to possibly get a 3rd one but was wary about the longevity and still pissed on the 1st one. After reading reviews I’m like DUHHH should have pursued the warranty! And I decided the heck, let me pursue it as #1 is still within the warranty and I noticed prices have gone up if I decided to buy the 4rth one. Needless to say, Black and Decker CSR made the process easy for me. They said they will ship me a replacement (albeit a different one) but hey I’m just glad to get a replacement. I should have pursued the warranty sooner 0_0 So I have till January and February 2021 if #2 and #3 breaks. I still love this vacuum so 5 stars as well as Black and Decker CSR. ================= I love this vacuum. It is very powerful and it *really* sucks the dirt and dust. When I tap the filter to clean it all these (ugh) sandy dust come out. Non stop use possibly 10-15 minutes usage then I have to recharge it. Cleaning, emptying and adjusting it to different angles is easy. It is a bit heavy as I move it along but I guess that’s what happens when there’s a powerful engine/battery. Of course I with it would last longer but Im pretty sure it’ll be even heavier than it is now. All I can say is extremely happy with this vac! It does its job. Hope it lasts a long time, let ya know.

I can't believe how powerful the suction is on this handheld vacuum! It's actually stronger than the vacuums at the car wash I used to use. I honestly didn't expect it to pick up dirt as well as it does. I've tried several handheld vacuums before, but I ended up returning them because the suction was so weak. I'm so happy to have this on hand instead of having to drive to the car wash every time I want to vacuum my car.

My original Dustbuster product died because the motor burned out and I had to buy a new one. I was very happy to see this enhanced Dustbuster that has the dirt trapper, movable up and down. That really appeal to me. Unfortunately when it arrived, This particular Dustbuster only has one setting on and off. The original Dustbuster that cost about $20 less has two settings, high and medium. That would really help. Also, the extension wand is very difficult to pull out from this product. And it is heavier than the original Dustbuster. It still has good power like the original Dustbuster, but I’m not sure the additional expense is worth it for these enhancements. And nonetheless, I can still recommend Black & Decker for Dustbuster products.

This is a very powerful handheld vacuum cleaner. Very useful for picking up the bits from the kitchen and diing room floor. It's also good for cleaning the seats and floor of the car. Much better than having to get out the big vacuum cleaner. Just the job!

Very powerful and good material like all previous models. Bit more noisy. Comes with american plug rated at 110V, so I used the old charger

Das Produkt wurde leider mit amerikanischem Netzstecker geliefert und ist für mich so unbrauchbar. Sehr ärgerlich! In der Produktbeschreibung ist das nicht offensichtlich. Es gibt lediglich den allgemeinen Hinweis "US internationale Produkte möglicherweise von den deutschen Versionen abweichen." und "Verkauf und Versand durch Amazon US". Ich hatte mir nicht träumen lassen, dass dann ein Gerät mit amerikanischem Stecker ankommt. In Zukunft werde ich also auch auf dieses kleine Detail achten müssen. Dieser Ärger wäre nun wirklich vermeidbar.

USA Plug and USA Electricity (110v volts) sold to me on "Amazon.nl" in Holland WITHOUT ANY MENTION ON THE" AMAON.NL" WEB PAGE THAT THE PLUG WOULD NOT FIT INTO THE WALL SOCKET IN HOLLAND AND THAT THE VACUUM CLEANER WOULD BE DESTROYED IF I PLUGGED IT INTO THE WALL SOCKET IN HOLLAND!
