Less than $35 gets you a CD player with ability to play music from your phone, tablet, or iPod, plus speakers. Given how expensive CD players are (due to not many being made anymore), this is overall a pretty good deal. I picked one up to go alongside a vinyl record player for my sound setup--never get a vinyl-CD player combo because those sound like junk and it's better to buy'em separately and get a good quality one for each purpose.Pros:- CD Player has played every CD I've thrown at it with ease, including some burned ones that are scratched up. Only one CD skipped and it was one that was heavily scratched.- CD Player can keep a CD paused for at least a half hour, probably more (though I've not tried this)- CD Player has EQ options plus the ability to use no EQ. I typically use no EQ as I find all of the EQ settings built in sound pretty artificial, although the Rock one is nice for adding a little oomph to what's played through it.- AUX input works like a charm and sounds really good.- Nice modern design with the ability to be easily mounted.Cons:- The speakers are not good. If you're going to get this CD player, I would highly recommend investing in a set of decent or good speakers. I personally use some Logitech Z200s with a male RCA to female AUX adapter. I am planning on upgrading to a better set fairly soon, although these sound wayyyyy better than the speakers that come with the CD player.- CD Player is a little warm to the touch when a CD is played through it for long periods of time. No danger of a fire or anything of the sort, just wish it stayed cooler.- Remote control is not very good beyond a range of 5 feet.My only worry about this player is that it won't last long given the cheap price. But we'll see how long it works well for.

This small stereo is great for what I wanted. It is what I expected for what I was buying. The sound quality is great and it turns up louder than I'd ever need. I wouldn't expect real low bass or high treble because it is a small shelf system. The aux connector that came with it works great for my computer, tablet, and phone for playing music. I don't know if you would use it to plug into the headphone jack on your t.v. because it might be what you are looking for. It's not that kind of system. It's not a connected stereo entertainment system for your t.v. and movies. It is small and can fit on a shelf or on another small flat surface. The cd player works well and the unit has an attached antenna which picks up radio stations great. A remote came with a battery and it works really good. I wanted this small stereo not just because I didn't want a pair of usb speakers plugged into a computer but instead so I could plug it into anything I could put on my desk that would play music or where I needed more sound (like a laptop or computer.) The GPX has great sound quality and sounds really surround for size of the speakers. It has a bright blue neon light with a clock on when it's off which looks neat. It's a really good shelf unit for the price but don't expect low end bass for music or games or whatever because that's not what this is intended for. It is really good quality for someone who listens to a lot of music and knows what they are looking for in a small stereo unit.

A little challenging putting a.new CD in as you have to catty corner it.Buttons are nice and clicky, included remote is nice.Really liked the way the speakers plug into it with a regular connector.The quality and build of the system is fairly good.

Bought this cd player for my elderly Mom. It worked great for a year and then the cd player just stopped working. At the low price it was easier to just order a new one. Which I did (I took her old one and put in shop bc radio did still work) and it only lasted a month. Same thing with cd player. Too late to return to Amazon.

The sound quality is fine when you adjust it. It was very tinny sounding with a high treble on Rock, but when I changed it to Pop that got better. I was very disappointed in its functions, though. There are 20 presets for FM stations, but there is no way to go backward. So if I am listening to a station on preset 5 and I want to change to preset 3, I have to go forward all the way through the 20 presets to get to 3. I'm very unhappy with that because I have stations that I listen to at night and stations that I listen to during the day, so I want to be able to change them at will.As for the remote, it is extremely tiny, easily lost, and hard to read. ☹Edited a few days later to add: Because using the remote in my bedroom was virtually impossible, I moved this system out into the living room...where it gets ONE FM station. Granted, I live in a rural area with few strong stations, but much cheaper radios can pull in at least three or four FM stations. I'm going to sell this (or give it away) and buy something else. I guess you get what you pay for.

I love the size of this it sits on my bedside bookcase. The sound is phenomenal and it operates smoothly. Great value for the money. Definitely recommend.

I purchased this for my kitchen. Playing cds from back in the day as I work has been so great. Great, full sound; compact; and easy to control with a handy remote. It brings so much joy.

Sounds great and works great and for a great price. This is for in my studio and I am very happy I purchased it for myself and it does not take up a lot of space..Thank you.

This is a great little radio, set up easy and sound is good. Not sure why there is a remote because you have to be practically on top of it before it works...very disappointing
